- Lettering animation is a pretty common task in modern Motion Graphics. So, we decided to create a comprehensive lesson with top recommendations on how to improve your lettering animations. How to you easily search effects in that search bar on bottom left at 1:08. Saw it somewhere but can't remember. Need that workflow hack because going to the effects panel to search every time is slow and clunky. Thanks!

How do you make the bouncy text after doing the write on effect? wouldn't the masks being moved reveal the areas without the write on?

Do you know any examples or how to go about animating lettering with a thick outline stroke? Should the outline pop out from the letters after it’s written on? Thanks!

everything is clear and fun but the only question i didn’t find answer for it is how to change all the null dimensions at once (i don’t mean size). sometime i have tons of nulls
You can either parent, let's say rotation, of all the Nulls' to one of them, which means that when one changes, the other will change the same way. Or you can achieve the same result by parenting the values to a Slider, Angle or whatever Expression Control.
It requires a little time to set up, but is worth in the long run. :)

I like very much what you can do with After Effects. For me as a non-professional artist, the pricetag of Adobe is too high.
Indeed, there are quite a few alternate, even free programs about! I'd very much love to see you take on the challenge of animating text with for example Krita. I know you're very skilled already so I hope you won't let us down. ;-)

Drop effect only work 2020 adobe Illustrator or note ?
Is there a possibility that soon you would make motion designs using Davinci Resolve... That would be really nice. I currently take your tips and try to replicate them in Davinci Resolve... It's super slow to achieve but turns out fairly okay
I'm using points to nulls but I'm not getting the same effect, it stretches the outside of the lettering and warps it (like it ruins the shape it doesn't stretch it) any advice?
I don't even make things like this, but that was awesome and kept me watching
