@@GreatSin Amazon is longer. The only time this isn't true is during low tide when the river is basically dry. If you measure maximum tide the Amazon is longer by ~400 km. It's actually fuckin ridiculous how far into the mountains that thing goes. It does change names at one point, though, so that's why most sources list Nile as longer, even though that's technically incorrect.

Um actually the Amazon is definitely the longest river in the world. The Nile is only 6,650 kilometers where the Amazon is 6,992.
Um actually to my own um actually, at this point in time both the Nile and the Amazone are correct due to a scientific dispute over the source of the Amazon river, which could be as far back as the Andes making it the leader, but if this theory that is yet to be proven is not correct then the Nile is indeed the longest river. Until a scientific consensus is reached, both are technically the longest

I'm a biologist and I'd like to say that all of the things they listed are essential for photosynthesis, and both water AND chlorophyll are essential IN plants for photosynthesis. If you wanted to differentiate for chlorophyll, you could have included the phrase "and is only contained in a specific organelle in plant cells".
