Trivia is 99.9% luck. When I was on a trivia team, we were a solid journeyman team with flashes of brilliance--we even won a state championship for our league--it was just all dumb luck. We once won because I had seen an article ten years earlier about the strategic petroleum reserve, we one another because I had seen the ghost-pirate episode of Venture Bros., and another because I remembered the name Cavendish from fifteen years before.
@@frenstcht I once helped my team win a Trivia contest because I'd seen the episode of Criminal Minds that mentions serial killer BTK, and knew what it stood for. I've seen maybe 30 episodes of that show, out of hundreds. It's absolutely about luck.

The comment “we’ve got Summer Games: Summer Camp Keith back” sent me down the rabbit hole of rewatching Summer/Winter Games - I’ve seen some comments about doing some more Smosh trivia and think that could be a fun theme (with Ian, Courtney, Olivia and Shayne competing and maybe Spencer hosting since he edits them if I remember correctly). Everything from team names to what the competitions were called to who won (even specific competitions or trophies at the end)

Keith crushed this and he deserves it with everything he's going through. He still has a positive outlook and he's still his funny self. It's amazing to see him be so happy with everything that's going on.

I think it would be cool to do a wildcard episode, where different staff members pick their own category for questions. That way everyone goes in blind and has no guarantee for an advantage

I found that whenever Ian is on this game he tells the person with the highest points to wager it all, Keith was nice and played along with it, but last time Damien didn’t give in from Ian’s pressure and that’s how won last time.
I wish Keith had done the same, it makes me sad when I see someone lose an unloseable game because they don't want to upset other people

We’re not gonna talk about it Bc by the end of the video Courtney seemed really bummed that she wasn’t doing very well and ppl were laughing at her genuine attempts (they obviously didn’t mean to be mean but you can tell it low key hurt her feelings) by the end u can tell she’s honestly just done and wants to leave Bc it’s making her feel bad about herself. Like the House of Representatives question, if she’d been in the game and not in her own head she would’ve known. They got that question in a different episode and she got it right. But by the end she was just telling herself what’s the point u don’t know it move on.

BEPORDY! Get Shayne as the real host of Jeopardy
The funny thing about the R. L. Stine answer is that it actually makes sense: both Stine and Salinger wrote books that many kids are familiar with but are little-known as people, both were known by two initials and a surname starting with S, I can absolutely see how someone would mix them up.
All the trivia episodes on Smosh make me so happy. My absolute favorites!

This is so fun!! You should do a beopardy about languages! Like origins, word definitions, give an example in a sentence but the twist is that people should actually spend like a month before hand learning the language as much as possible. So beopardy as a test 😂😁

Idea: Put 5 languages as the categories, then uncommon words from each of those languages. The contestants have to guess either the meaning of the word or what the word is in English
This was great. Can’t wait til you have four more winners for the next one. Though I’d like to see an actual spelling bee style bee for the final (each person gets a word from a list Garret or somebody makes, if they spell it incorrectly, the next person tries it, if it goes all the way around incorrectly, no one is out, but if anyone gets it right, anyone who got it wrong is out, unless it was the last person, then they have to spell a new word right to win). It’s easy :)
