Happy Birthday Mark Slaughter!! 🥳🎈🎉🎂 July 4, 1964- today July 4 2022 , (58) you have always been part of my heart And the music I have played every day since 1990.
Let's not forget Dana is a living Rock legend. He has great tone ,style and showmanship. I constantly listen to his lnvasion and slaughter work. It's rock and roll bass 101. Plus didn't the guyy hookup Randy rhoads with a job.??
Can't wait to see these guys in Orlando this year. Been one of my all time favorite bands since 1989. You can feel the good energy in their music. Thank you for the great interview Sally!
These guys are absolutely phenomenal. Saw them in Bay City and Mark can still sing and hit the high notes was awesome to celebrate his 60th birthday with him & Dana Strum. And Dana Strum absolutely wonderful on the bass guitar. Both are an amazing inspiration in the arts. ❤
Nicely done interview. I seldom dig these types of interviews, but this seemed genuine, and just a down to earth conversation. Well done - all involved. :)
They're right about create new music..But i heard Michael sweet from stryper saying: we know people want to hear hits on our shows..but i want to let them know we have hits and new stuff as well... Slaughter dont even write a new song since 1999..
It's a shame they parted on bad terms because quite a few songs from VVI's All Systems Go album would've been great on Slaughter's set lists, like Love Kills, That Time of Year, and Burn.
I think with Mark staying away from booze and drugs that his voice is still the same after so many years where as bands like KISS who fucked themselves up during their career have to take to using tracks because of the excess they permanently fucked up their voices.
@@annetteslife He is nothing like Stephen pearcy. I saw and met Mark at an outdoor festival. Just wish I could have been able to meet Dana. But as it was poor Mark had to get through a line of 20+ people when his handler's were trying to get him to leave. I forever love him for that
I love these guys they deserve so much more than what theyve received. The humilty they have compliments thier musical talents 🙏🎶🎵
YES!

Mark is 54 and Dana is 60 but they still look and sound great and are doing what they love doing. Inspirational.
Humble dudes! I still dig these guys after all these year's! "Keep Rocking dudes"! \,,,/ \,,,/
Mark's voice is true American rock style! They write, produce and play their own music! That's unbelievible!
Dana you need to do more interviews, this was great

I saw Slaughter at least 5 or 6 times from 1994 through the 2009. All in Atlanta area...they were always great and stayed to meet the fans.

Sure thing.
love the slaughterboyz
Still look good. Sounds good.
Always raggin on Vinnie, at least they're consistent.
I love Vinnie, but he put them and Bobby through living hell, summer '88. He has it coming from these guys.

He drinks, Just occasionally. When I saw him at a a meet and greet he had a beer as well as on stage. but everything in moderation
@@OrchidJayne thank you for the corrections. As long as he is not getting fucked up like Stephen Pearcy does then that is up

@@OrchidJayne oh thank god. After watching the last few videos of Stephen Pearcy loaded on stage, I was like how was this guy even still alive
