Ungal annan oru multi talented adhipudhi saali, honestly an intellectual, yet so humble. I always felt Kamal's movies became a hit because of Crazy Mohan sir. Kamal needed Crazy sir, not the other way around. Neegallum oru great conversationalist, migzha azhaghaaga ella incident-um explain panreenga. Lakshmanan to Mohan's Ramar.

1993 movie - Chinna Maaple - screenplay, dialogues by Crazy Mohan. It has become household movie and stress buster movie watched by many Tamilians, without knowing that it was written by Crazy mohan. In that movie, Mohan would have used Radha Ravi, Visu to their maximum potential. It is one of the top 5 best movies in career of Prabhu. I watched it when I was 13, in theatres when it was released in Pongal 1993. I also watched it last month for 20th time I guess. But what astonished me is, when I watched the movie in 1993, the feeling of comedy and movie what it gave to me at that time, the same feeling I get now, watching the movie. There is no change in the feeling. Which means he was a perfect writer who could bring 6 to 60 together at the same harmonious frequency of mind. This cannot be done without blessing of God.

Balaji shares so much of interesting details. Fantastic. I have also grown up in the same period in Triplicane area watching dramas of all these great people. It was a golden era 👍

When I was young, Maadhu Balaji used to be my favorite tv hero. I used to burst out with laughter every time in his scenes in his brother Mohan’s drama. Infact, I never used to miss his drama’s when telecasted in tv, the best being nil, Gavani, crazy. He will disguise as Swamiji in that serial and it would be hilarious and good childhood memories. At that time itself, I used to think that their content is so much valuable and equivalent to a Rajinikanth cinema, but still why they are doing drama. Content wise and acting wise, Mohan and Balaji were truly our super heroes in our childhood, we didn’t read comics like Batman, it was only Mohan and Balaji for us. Sweet memories. I used to fight a lot with my brothers if they change channel when Madhu Balaji was acting, it was all fun fight at that tjme. Also remember his dramas telecasted in doordarshan, it will be surprise visit for us, I will not change channel and watch it completely whenever it was telecasted in doordarshan. I still remember that ambulance comedy, where the entire crowd will leave the patient and get into ambulance. Great child hood times.

For many people, it would be easy to hear BTech and Mtech and then a job. But 40 years before even if a guy finishes btech, he would be getting settled with good job for his life time. On top of that why would someone study Mtech. May be his passion to studies. But Mtech at that time is very much valued to take up a millionaire career. But surprising that he took Drama. Hats of Mohan sir, for Choosing drama and entertaining middle class people like us. Without your jokes, our life would have been dull at that time. (Forget sve sekar, his was low class comedy and not mature enough).

One more thing I forgot to tell you- the movie Aha. It was the best of crazy Mohan after Avvai shanmughi. It was one of my favorite movie, nowadays I cannot find it online and funny part is cannot find it for purchase as well. Aha is a kind of movie, it can be written only by a person, who is brought up in a joint family. All dialogues in that movie I like it. Trust me, 50 years from now, people will consider this movie as the greatest movie ever made.

Kamal reminded music dir gibran of his prayers during work. Belief first, work next. But when it comes to Mohan's giving hair in tirumala, he should stop. For Mohan it has to be work first, belief - not even next- but last. Kamal 🤷🏽‍♀️

The only humble guy in the entire Brahmin family like Sve sekar, y gee Mahendra and madhu Balaji etc is Crazy Mohan. He stood out from the rest of the folks. He valued life and lived an extra ordinary life by spending his time on his passion and God. Rest in Peace Mr.Mohan. But one thing I have to write here, if there are 4 brothers in a family, each one will be of different nature. It’s because of their past karma they are born together. From that understanding am saying that Maadhu Balaji is not even 1% of Crazy Mohan. He is so lucky to be born as his brother.

something he himself agrees right .. but let me tell you this ,, Madhu Balaji was the biggest pillar of strength for Crazy Mohan ,, we do not know how he managed the troupe when Mohan was away in Cinema .. being employed in Bank and doing this as well like how Cho and Kathadi Ramamoorthy did and of course Delhi Ganesh did .. it was a difficult task ..

      Perceptions hides the truth sometimes!
Honesty and straightforwardness and point blank sometimes appears like less modest!

And it takes a lot to enjoy and absorb other person’s comedy as his own and enact!
Madhu Balaji is a natural and he is just contended to live under his brother’s shadow. Probably that used to happen in all Brahmin’s household that the eldest will be super intelligent and the younger will always be compared and never get to shine on their own specific skills.
It takes more character and quality to be like him.
Beside she gave life to Mohan’s writings! Who could have not stopped laughing at the DD dramas!
      Simple , sweet, clean fun!
