      yoirulethegreat is your country just a bunch of similar people? then how would you have something similar to America's race wars and rich white people exploiting blacks, Asians, Latinos, et cetera et cetera (btw in traditional Latin C's only make K's sound)?

      Shady Fungus a comedy show that is on a network that is controlled by the financial backers of the democratic party just like CBS NBC MSNBC pbs etv .... notice how they only attack anyone who is even slightly associated with the republican party but will do anything to defend democrats regardless of what they do... and their was never any actual proof of actual kkk supporting Donald trump outside of fake news and talk shows that only focus on rating and come up with fake stories like the democrats and the republican parties switching (which is a complete and false accusation) the democratic party never switched positions they only started using blacks too pull votes look what they say and who they pull too every election and they do absolutely nothing afterwards they started pulling to blacks and minorities as strategy not because they gave a shit... they only party who has historically ever cared about the poor and minories is the republicans from the very beginning... all this is is the democrats and their backers once again trying to throw false and misguiding info out hoping that once again the ignorance of the American people will bite on it (which 99% of them do just like obamas "big bird" zinger which basically took over the minds of most Americans who don't have the memory span of a toddler)

      richard grace But tbf there is bias in all kinds of media. It would seem the difference with this is they do a fair amount of fact checking and video posting before calling things out. Of course this station isn't going to be 100% on the money no station will but they're s comedy station first and foremost.
      As far as fake news goes I've heard both parties being guilty of it.

      Actually, you are right. Many schools (even colleges, academies, and universities) have withheld what I like to call, "The Great Political Switch". I was luckily able to learn of it by picking up the pieces throughout my social studies classes in school. But yes, the school system (mainly in conservative states) hide this info from the public. Sadly, little to nobody knows of the Political Switch and still think that the Republicans are the good guys.

    • @pennyfredsonstudios
      @pennyfredsonstudios 8 лет назад +23

      I feel like people complain a lot about Trevor Noah's hosting in the show because they felt he struggled a bit with comedic timing and that it wasn't as funny, and I feel like lots of people attributed that to a lack of talent, but I don't think that's what it was. I think - for one thing - that he was just still adjusting to hosting the show in the beginning which I imagine was pretty difficult and took some time, but also I think the writers just hadn't adjusted their writing style to Trevor Noah's delivery and particular method of expressing himself yet. I think he did better in segments like these because the writing was just better adjusted to Trevor Noah's particular talents.
      I think also that this means that the Daily Show is changing a bit and becoming a different show than it used to be, and lots of people are misconstruing this as a bad thing when it's actually still a very good show, just also a very different show. I think Trevor Noah is a really good and incredibly talented host, he's just good in a different way than Jon Stewart was. I understand that the audience of the show is probably going to shift with its tone and it won't appeal to all the same people it used to, but I personally like the show just as much as I liked it before. :)

    It doesn't help that the two party names are so fucking vague! Democracy and Republic are fucking synonyms! For Christ's sake! That's what makes massive inter-generational policy u-turns so common in the States. The party doesn't tell you what it stands for on the tin.
    A political party name in a democracy (or a republic, as they are indeed broadly the same fucking thing) should stand for what that party thinks the Government's job is.
    If your party thinks that the Government should interfere as little as possible, especially during peace time, call it the Liberal Party.
    If your party thinks that the role of Government is to uphold traditional values through the ages, then yours is the Conservative Party.
    If your party thinks that Government is all about reducing the wealth gap, then it should call itself the Socialist Party.
    If your party think that Governmental duty is inextricably tied to national pride, why not try calling yourselves the Nationalist Party.
    This is fun and I could go all day, but I think you get my point. This ensures that the people, the voters, actually have a real choice between tangibly distinct options.

      @Con Troversy So why don't the KKK vote for the democrats today? Why is it the democrats today that are tearing down confederate statues and strongly condemning the kkk and other instances of racism? Also, how in the fuck are the democrats trying to create racial division? If anything, I see the current democratic base as a harmony of all different kinds of races

    • @MYYT0214
      @MYYT0214 3 года назад

      @Con Troversy If you think the modern day Democratic Party is in any way still the KKK, you are unbelievably misguided. Is the Democratic party still terrorizing blacks and other people of color? No. Is the Democratic party still preventing black people from participating in the US political system? No. Yeah just because the KKK supports a policy doesn't mean shit about the real reason behind the policy. The KKK also supported Christianity. Does that make Christianity an evil religion? Of course not. The idea that Planned Parenthood was founded for killing black babies is completely absurd. Why the hell would black people want to kill their own babies? Do you not understand that Planned Parenthoods are invested in these black neighborhoods not because they are black but because they are so poor that they cannot afford contraception? Additionally, the Dems did NOT create the KKK. It just happened to be that the founders were Democrats, but the Democratic party was never the reason behind the KKK. And guess what? When the KKK came to power for the second time during the 1920s, they had strong connections with Dems AND Republicans. I think the burden is on the Republican party because they are the ones going on the offensive to defame the Democrats while flaunting themselves as the "The Party of Lincoln" and the true "non-racist party". Your point about the statues is completely invalid. People are rallying around the statues to enforce hateful ideologies and racism. Also, when in the world did Democrats want to erase history lessons? I've never heard of such absurdity except from an uneducated person like you. By tearing the statues down, minorities will feel less intimidated and more welcome and racists will have less of a thing to rally around. You call yourself a Republican and yet you use bogus excuses to keep the statues of those that you claim to have tried to "destroy your party". You literally make no sense. And don't you dare weaponize MLK's words for your own agenda. These racial quotas and reparations are put in place for good reason because blacks are still in worse positions today than whites because of decades of racism. And surprise surprise, MLK actually supported Affirmative Action, arguing in his book Why We Can't Wait that because America has been so unusually cruel against black people, the black people deserve unusually good treatment as compensation.

      @Marshall Kinnaird Correct. The emancipation proclamation was a military maneuver meant to undermine the South. Border state slaves weren't freed by the EP because the intention was strategical.
      1. Lincoln wanted to use slaves escaping up north for manpower.
      2. Lincoln wanted to undermine the South.
      The edict wasn't even produced until the war was at it's mindpoint. It was delayed because Lincoln didn't want to seem desperate since the North wasn't fairing well at the outset. He waited until a key victory before releasing the EP.
      He credited the escaping slaves that were used as soldiers for 'turning the tide of the war'. Fredrick Douglas and other abolitionists pressed Lincoln on freeing all slaves following the war since black soldiers had helped him achieve his primary goal -- preserving the union.

Let me ask you a question by comparison who protests more about free speech? democratic "progressive" party actively tries to shut down trump rallies and protests outside as well as causing violence. and then compare that to how many trump supporters go to democratic rallies and cause shit there. The democratic party is psychotic and gunning for control it's already started you cant criticize immigration without being a racist, universities are now homes for worthless students. scientific progress has been halted because someone's feelings were hurt. Livingstone I see the flaws in both parties. I totally agree with most of what you are saying, but if you look at the history, the democratic party used to be the racist/highly conservative party after the civil war. At the turn of the 20th century the political party's switch titles from democratic to Republicans. Nobody is speculating that this "must" have happened, it did happen. Now I not favoring any one for the other; I'm an independent. I posted that comment because I support Noah's argument about who the "racist party" was.

    • @MrGreensweightHist
      @MrGreensweightHist 3 года назад +6

      @Con Troversy In the time of the civil war, democrats were the Conservative party and Republicans were the liberals.
      In the 1930s, the Democrat added civil rights to their platform, and the racist southern democrats walked out on the convention.
      By the 1940s those southern Democrats had formed a 3rd party called the States' Rights Democratic Party, separate from the actual democrats. Colloquially known as the "Dixiecrats"
      They ran segregationist third party candidates like Storm Thurmond.
      By the 1960s, the Republicans realized they could bring in these 3rd party voters over if they catered to racism. This was called the Southern Strategy, and by the time of Nixon, the Dixiecrats had been absorbed into the GoP turning the south solid red.
      This is why, even thought he Democrats created the Confederacy and founded the KKK, it is no Republicans that fly the "Stars and Bars" Confederate Flag, and don the white sheets
      Ans, to this day, it is the southern conservatives that promote segregation and bigotry, though their attention has shifted from Blacks and Jews, to Gays and Muslims.
      P.S.

      The KKK has for the most part been left wing, only a few times changing because left wing, and right wing ideologies changes, Being racist, and wanting to kill, or get rid of all of the African Americans isn't exactly a traditional american value that has been here for a long time, it's more of a radical change in our government ruling that whites should have all the freedom, and liberty they want.

      Social media is incredibly annoying for the spread of misinformation.

      You do realize that the KKK donated $20,000 to Hillary Clinton's campaign right ? and Margaret Sanger the creator of Planned Parenthood created abortion to murder all the babies of the black race and 79% of all Planned Parenthoods are located in minority areas so Planned Parenthood is currently doing its intended purpose of murdering the black race so tell me who are the real racists ?

    • @mjnari022

      @@jankoleon3785 i know about the Clinton's connection with the KKK but did you know that David Duke (the former Grand Knights of the KKK) endorsed Trump for his run. As for planned Parenthood i don't know of any abortion clinic that will deny any woman so them targeting minorities i do know they would need the woman to come in and can't no one make a woman do what she doesn't want to do. What i do find interesting is the party that so-called wants less government involvement wants the government to be involved with what a woman chooses to do with her own body.
      As for who's the real racist democrats, Republicans they're equal its just one says s*it to your face and the other says s*it behind your back, its the person not the party you "should" be voting for.

    I see some people putting Trevor down for not being hard on issues.
    I think they are either PR assholes or people who have to have over the top emotional displays as clues to the words they just don't follow, ie Trevor's show is above their IQ level.
    He speaks softly. He's a nice guy. He has no trouble pointing out bigotry in plain terms.
    Trevor, you may be aiming too high for American TV. Don't change though, make people get up and reach. I love your show and the way you do it, the material carries more than you say and man, you say it well.

      +Buzz Werd What are you talking about? People are loud when they want to make a point, and fear that they me be talked over, however last time I checked out the window the world has not ended just yet. I drank a coke, had a few slices of ham, my dog is sleeping next to my feet, and her bag of chow is in the corner not being rationed so that I don't stave after I get done eating her. My computer is on, my TV works, I could go down to the bar and order a shot or two of whiskey, but I'm not going to because I'm saving money for a trip I plan to take soon. Could you have just made it easier and said "I don't like our president", and left it at that maybe? Not that you can't say whatever you want to say, but it's a little confusing is all. Thanks for reading.

I'm sorry if I took it wrong, and deep down was hoping you would be one of the people who find it to be true, so we could talk about it. True speak, if you where one I would just get a hyperlink, or something to Google because the conspiracy is too deep to competently repeat.

    This whole "libruls r racist cuz kkk" meme is honestly the most infuriating one out there, because it's an insult to anyone with even a modicum of intelligence. I honestly felt like my intelligence dropped 30 points when i read it for the first time. Anyone who has paid attention for even one second during history class should know this is wrong. I knew this was wrong during elementary school, for Christ's sake. The fact that somebody from *another country* has to explain this to us is alarming, to say the least.
    Moral of the story: stay in school.

      +DaL33T5 I can't believe some people still think it makes sense, like this CNN guy. Or that it's a convincing argument in a debate. It seems as if he learned a new fact--"The KKK was originally founded by the Democratic Party"--and wanted to show the world his groundbreaking discovery.
