Hi Guys! In this video, we will show you how to fix your camera problem (integrated camera or dedicated camera) if it is not working properly on your PC and you get a blank black screen or the message that Something went wrong and try restarting your device. It will also have the error codes like the error code: 0xA00F4292 (Photo Capture Start Timeout), or 0xA00F4244 and 0xC00DABE0 (We couldn't find your camera and check to be sure that it is connected and installed properly).
This fix contains all possible solutions to all the possible problems with your camera on Windows 10, whether it is the black screen or the error codes, or anything else on your PC/Laptop. Moreover, this fix is meant as an easy and quick way to get your camera running again but it this doesn't work, the recommendation is to first restart your PC after all the solutions and fixes, and then try reinstalling windows. Meant for all current Windows versions: XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and of course Windows 10.

Spend 2 days because my camera wouldn’t start after a DriverEasy Update... tried everything... finally uninstalling DriverEasy update, restart.. then Regedit (as you mentioned) and Uninstall driver (with checkbox ticked) restart and it’s working fine...I must admit that I did do other things but it didn’t work on it’s own... so I’m hoping regedit and adding CameraHostUI to allowed apps did the trick...
Windows support just tried few things and asked to reset pc... it takes months and years to set up your workspace and expecting to undo all that kills!

In the end, it was simply just my keyboard shortcut that enabled "Block Recording Mode". I've learned a valuable lesson here. Sometimes the problem is very simple. Thank you man, God bless you!

So I was configuring the setting of my OBS in Streamlabs, adjusting the hue and saturation when the camera freezes when I was adjusting the sharpness. I closed the software but the light on my webcam is still on. I checked device manager and my camera is not there. I unplug it and plug it again and it popped up in my device manager, but it will automatically be gone when I open OBS or even the Camera app. But its working on Google Meet and video call in Messenger. The only problem is the quality of my webcam got effed up, it was stuck on the settings that I left on the Streamlabs which very grainy and the sharpness maxed out.
What if I didn't find the camera / integrated camera on the device manager?

For anyone that still have this problem, especially for error 0xA00F4292 PhotoCaptureStartTimeOut. You can try one more step which is turning off the webcam protection on your anti-virus settings. It kinda blocked everything that it finds threatening. So, yeah.. could give it a try.

@@nitinbhattacharyya8784 I'm not sure if firewall actually blocked the camera feature.. but you can search on your settings for 'Firewall & network protection', then you'll see the option "allow an app through firewall" Check if camera feature is allowed.. I used Kaspersky so this option is grayed out on my laptop.
