Thanks :) For details on beta, just go to this page: addons.wago.io/addons/details-damage-meter-standalone/versions?stability=alpha and select the version at the top of the list.
Blizzard should increase Divine Storm's spell value. OK, actually they should buff all the spells that cost Holy Power. I played the beta yesterday and found that the damage difference between Final Verdict and Blade of Justice is only around 10000, which is really ridiculous.
Wow yeah that sounds super low! Ret is super fun so I definitely wouldn't complain if they buffed it / made it strong going into TWW! IDK what talents to run though just kinda yolo'd a build together before this dungeon haha.
Hey! Sorry I won't be able to share my exact setup yet (its not on wago) but... I use a modified version of wago.io/SyKliz3F5 for the mana/holy power/procs, everything else in this pack I turned off. For ret I also use wago.io/5juqfYglj when playing crusading strikes. Hope that helps! When beta is over and I can make sure everything works on retail, I'll start putting weakauras in the descriptions!
I'm a Paladin main (by no means on a professional level), started off in Cata as Prot, always hated Holy, transitioned to Ret a few expansions ago. I tried Holy in beta and I surprisingly really like it. But I'm also very worried they are ruining Ret, although I still kinda like it in the Beta. Never been a big fan of Templar Strikes though, but I have a few questions actually, if you wouldn't mind answering them! 1. Between Holy and Ret, which one looks like it's going to be performing better in their respective roles? 2. Is it a big DPS loss to build into Crusading Strikes? Like, is Templar Strikes a must-have talent now? 3. Could you link me your talents you use for M+ in Beta for both Ret and Holy? I'd do a big appreciate 😊
Hey gamer, thanks for the message. I'll try to help out where I can! I am a long time Holy main, but in DF, I put at least 1 full patch into all 3 specs, so I've got some perspective on where you're coming from. Holy is super fun right now, you've picked a good time to give it a go! I've only tested a couple keys on Ret so far in beta, and this was the last one. Not because I didn't like it (though the new wings on Wake of Ashes talent feels strange to play), I've just been focused on playing Holy + getting practice healing again after a break, but I'm hoping to do some more soon! As far as your questions go: 1) Based on keys I've played + watching streams, Holy is definitely the current winner. I don't think Ret is bad at all, and I'll absolutely be playing it a bit when TWW launches, but Hpal is vying for a meta spot. However, they've taken a couple nerfs recently so its hard to say what things will look like by launch. 2) Couldn't tell ya tbh, I'm not much of a Ret scientist. From an hour or so of target dummy hitting, I didn't notice too much of a difference between Templar/Crusading Strikes, but I wouldn't recommend you take Ret talent advice from me. 3) Here is the ret build I ran this key: www.wowhead.com/beta/talent-calc/paladin/retribution/herald-of-the-sun/DAPQVARRlBkBUQiBZUCUANVRVVBUFFVVVQFFARFRQEFVVUBU and here is the holy build I've been running for the past week: www.wowhead.com/beta/talent-calc/paladin/holy/herald-of-the-sun/DAPBRAVRlBZBEYmBRQBROVVQVFFEBRVEVRVDQEUEFVVUBU Hope this helps, and sorry I couldn't provide more info on the Ret side of things at the moment.
@@Jickolas Thank you so much for your extensive reply! It's super helpful! I do agree that Radiant Glory feels really awkward to play and I used to play it as Herald of the Sun until it got hard nerfed about a month ago. Ever since I've been running Templar but I hear that Herald is still the better pick, but I'm not sure if it's true, I personally just seem to perform better with Templar than Herald so idk. I will continue testing both specs and see which one I'll be settling with, but your answers have helped me massively to paint a better perspective of the current beta Paladin. Thank you a lot for taking your time to reply to me and even testing Templar vs. Crusading! There's barely any people who currently create beta Paladin content, so I appreciate what you do a lot! 😊
@MarieBunny1337 No problem at all! I love the consistency and fluidity of Herald of the Sun due to the Aurora (free divine purpose when you press wake of ashes) talent, but the high highs of hitting Hammer of Light x2 in a pull using Templar is insane too, so it's been hard for me to settle on one! Glad I could be of assistance and thanks for watching :) I'll try and get a couple more Ret testing keys uploaded here in the next couple of weeks. Tuning aside, unless Blizzard finds a way to ruin the current Holy/Ret playstyle, paladins will be eating good in TWW!
it seems the spell values is very very low right now, cuz our damage is lower than a tank when we dont have a wing. Impossible.
Hey how did you get the dos meter addon for the beta? Pls and thank you! Sick paladin!

Also arcane mage is giga op on beta so they put me in the dirt lol
What WA or addon do you use for the Personal Resource Display? Could you link to it? Thanks in advance.

Changed my mind and decided to try and make a quick demo on my UI, links in the description. Hope it helps: ruclips.net/video/lNdbUZJ8Yq8/видео.html

@@Jickolas I look forward to it! And I'm glad to hear Paladins (currently) seem in a good position :)
It's stupid that a tank can do as much DPS and healing as the other roles.
Yeah, I feel like they should have to choose to either do big damage, or be invincible to facilitate bigger pulls, not always both!
Imagine a game when healers do mote heals than tanks. I miss those days.
Tanks heal way to much
Yeah, It often does feel like every tank has BDK / VDH levels of healing, doesn't it.
