im a huge drainer, but i always love hearing different perspectives. I like how you approached this album fairly even if you weren't in love with bladee. earned my sub :)
whitearmor (the producer) is crazy, the production is honestly what got me into drain gang and now i love their music as a whole. i'd recommend reacting to his album ''the fool'' i think thats the best album for new listeners

i think you would like icedancer more, its a more straight hip hop album and has some of his best songs
20:20 😂😂😂😂😂 to be honest, this is his best solo album yet. he has been growing as an artist, as a fan I'm aware that what got me fascinated by him were his ideas at first and not the execution itself. The production was always interesting to me too. but yeah he is acctually been making really good music. not saying his previous stuff can't be considered good, but this is deff more fleshed out
I disagree personally i see this album as average (for his standards at the end of the day it's still a 7.5)

1. Eversince (10)
2. The Fool (9.5)
3. Icedancer (8.75)

I would recommend you to listen to his ''Working on Dying'' album. It got dark vibe and energy sometimes and you also can hear evil bladee)

Honestly everyone starts out how you are now. I’d go back to Icedancer or The Fool for something harder and easier to consume. That’s when you’ll hit Stage 2 and find something to take you to Stage 3 at some point. Keep pushing out that good work king 👑

I feel like it's called spider as some sort of metaphor thing...A spider has eight legs, and if you add its body, it makes a sum of nine-nine, which seems to be a motif that persists throughout a significant portion of his music. I'm not sure what that nine means exactly though, maybe some numerology thing?
