Thanks for the demonstration of both the putting-together and the usage. I bought one of these chainsaws last week and followed the instructions as you did - my main problem was that in taking off the protector guard to do the chainsaw-fitting bit, the spring came out and I wasn't 100% on fitting it back in. However what I saw you do seemed to confirm my theory, so I'll go ahead and try it. Also I didn't find tightening the belt as easy as you did, plus the instructions recommend a slight slack in the tightness (which doesn't sound right to me). Anyway, thanks for your video and I'll persevere.
I bought s similar one recently. Been going down to the woods looking for free fall wood, my wood store is now full to the top.. On larger logs use an upwards and downwards motion and it cuts a lot quicker. I can easily fill 4 big sacks on the power of one battery with mine. Just purchased a 12" battery powered saw for trees that have fallen, local woods has an abundant supply of fallen Ash that burns just great.
I’ve bought one with an 8” blade and there’s a place to put oil but there’s no instructions as to what type of oil to use or how much which is why I watched your video. Does yours not use oil?

Great video, clear and concise!
I will be trying this out but wonder why you did not put oil on the chain.
