I like the concept of the crowd lining the edge with their boards to stop runaway boards. Always like when skaters look after each other, help up, encourage…
More importantly: Remember to wear a helmet like Andy here. Or else you'll end up like this crowd, coming to watch people skate and being so oblivious that not only will you put the skaters in danger, you'll put yourself in danger and you'll make the whole thing worse by crowding the landing area.
LoL… 0:58 it’s like he can’t fall sometimes! Where most would or just jump off… Andy’s like “ ehh not workin” then pops back on board…almost looking like a land somehow or that it was intentional
Who is the guy with the Purple hair SHREDDING after he put his ankle sideways!? 4:10 If you slow it, legit twists 90 degrees. I have seen him all over. And that young kid absolutely shredding too. an boy am I curious what those secret plans are....

Andy's changing skateboarding more than any other skater alive with inovation and creativy both in the way he shapes his boards to the way he designs his wheels. Just saying he has the most reconizable pro-deck and it doesn't even have his name on it.
I have his first pro deck from powell, the heron. It says anderson on it pretty sure they all do. Your right on with its the most recognizable deck tho. It's shape is 1 of a kind for sure
All i could think was that there are a lot of brave people being dangerously close to these skaters. those boards can do some serious damage when they get away.
Seriously... Who knows? He does things and does things in ways I've never seen before. There are a lot of good skaters, doing hard tricks, and are super clean, but Andy is so creative. Where most skaters are like a neat wedding cake. Andy is like home-cooking. he does things his own way. That is something you can't teach.. You just got it The freestyle skating mixed in with ''regular'' skating, is so cool! Andy is always a crowd favorite, got his own style, at the same time as being one of the best skaters in the world - and on top of it, he is a super down-to-earth, humble, chill dude! What I DO KNOW is.. whatever he does, it's gonna be awesome!
All I could see was skateboarders being in trouble all the time because the spectators where way too close. Organizers please do something, this is an accident waiting to happen.
People are getting on the way and not giving space to skate...till one ends up with a board knocking their teeth out when it goes flying...organizers need to do a better job.
Problem I have with Andy at these type of jams is always the same thing every year which is he is inconsiderate to the other skaters lined up waiting their turn in a short format jam. Like holding up 10+ people to just spacewalk on the obstacle that everyone has to skate making it hard for anyone to skate the obstacle because everyone must wait for Andy is frustrating to watch. It is all love but, it is like watching someone who desperately needs attention when people already are there giving attention. Like there is a time and place to do freestyle and when its a fast pace street jam its not the place. He does it every time also across multiple years. You see the skaters in back not slapping their boards or clapping only the crowd is which I get they there for the crowd pleasing but, if the other skaters are obviously annoyed then it speaks volume.
Everyone has his own style. That's his style. He takes a few seconds for his skating from a whole day jam for and from everyone. Nobody is losing anything. Everyone wins.
@@guerrillaart-ql8np Nah cause Andy also before had more trick selection he has slowed down on putting in the effort which is why his contest skating and what not be lacking. look at his old footage he was in doing flip in flip out grinds and gaps but, past 2 years he just been more focus in freestyle or park skating. So I aint against freestyling but, when its 1 obstacle and you take up the whole platform its kinda dick headish. Even in pool skate jams watching legends skate they know when to just get out and let the next man go in. Andy he dont care he just goes n goes and is imo selfish in those regards.
meh let andy do andy haters gonna hate hes the only guy revolutinizing street skating at the moment. dude has brought a level of fun to skateboarding that it has sorely been missing for years.
Idk but to much feet on the ground from Andy.. If you grew up learning mullen tricks and oldschool tricks in gen its kinda no secret. Much respect but we can leave out the cavemans and fs pop outs at least..
dumbest thing ive ever heard. its not stuff no one bothers with he is mixing freestyle and street skating like we haven't seen since rodney invented street skating. theres a reason no one does what he does its hard asf. also hes doing tricks he enjoys. dude did a BS boardslide to 360 out no one else was even landing 360's from 50-50 which is way easier. he did a kickflip up to 50-50 impossible out. He mixs in real tech skating with his fancy freestyle.
do you know how hard the freestyle tricks hes doing are on a board that size. some of them can't even be done. how can the guy with the most unique style in skateboarding be getting to familiar? if anything everyone elses skating is to familar. people need to get there hands involved more. whatever andy's just gonna keep coming out with new board shapes and wheels and put everyone else to shame. guy has already changed skateboarding forever if people realize it or not. hes up there already with rodney, tony, and P rod. just enjoy the history you are watching unfold.
It's all in the helmet. If gives him the power and confidence to land those sweet tricks!

This isn't Andy's style, he's a free skater a true skater.. Someone who has unlocked the fun.. ❤
to everyone hating on Andy. it’s a jam sesh-AKA Free For All. whoever isn’t attempting loses, simple as that. skill issue
Everyone needs to move and let Andy skate.

Andys new wheels are SICK
Andy grande!!!!! God
People need to back up and let people skate . Like get out the way

yeah one trick and i am sure he could do it.
@@______-im2cn Then why'd he react like that. You saying you know Dylan Jaeb better than Dylan Jaeb?

Mad respect for the helmet 🙌🏼
Whats the deal between respect and a helmet - come on
@@frontsidegrinder6858 good role model for the young kids that wanna skate to not get hurt, i respect it aswell.
❤
I love how Andy is always unintentionally The Coolest MF in The Room.
My personal opinion: Andy Anderson is the best of his generation.
The problem I have with Mozart is the songs are a bit too long . Lmao
Love that people stand so close thaaaat skaters keep having to apologize for running into them
All i could think was that there are a lot of brave people being dangerously close to these skaters. those boards can do some serious damage when they get away.
The Openhagen
The Rodney Mullen of 2000s
far far from it. most of the good skaters could pull his tricks off. he is seriously over hyped cause he is weird.
He is not anywhere even remotely close to Rodney Mullen.
It's all in the purple hair!
ooooooooooo!
impossible at 4:04 was crazy
tough crowd..
Andy’s stays sick with the steez

I thought he was buying drugs at first lol
Maybe the other people need to chill out and stop drinking energetic drinks like it was water

Heard of a Coconut Wheelie? That's a 'Banana Split' !🥺

i think all comps like this, should be lined with a 10 foot high nets to catch runaway boards, seen too many people take skateboards to the head.
1:23 💀

I mean, a move takes as long as it takes to do.
Nice shirt at 9:43! 🤘🤘
Crowd control seriously ruins some decent skating.
More like crowds ruin decent skating. The skaters don’t want to hurt someone so the crowd needs to get out of the way so they can do their thing
You want to look like pacman?
So do crowds and other people on the course at times… just part of the game dude🤷♂️. Plus if they weren’t there, it’d be WORSE.
Nah ppl shouldn't be hovering over the obstacles. Crowd control guy is a G
Nice vid!
Andy just needs to backflip from boardslide off that beam and they can all go home !
@4:05 that was insane
Never understood why people stand so close. I know somebody shins and knees got hit
Andy savage WHY vans like he is can flip SMOKES

love me a good clickbait title

Why do people always sit in the lz? Is it a form of masochism?
A “well kept” secret
some of these dopes have seriously flawed bail strategies, launching their boards as hard as they can into the crowd
Sarcasm ... right ?
@@jayc1676 I hope so or they have just never tried a flip trick off anything higher than a curb.
Andy landed every trick. Lmao
Why are these guys all trying to run into each other? This is a bizarre format.
i wanna work a crowd like andy, and is that super hobbit i see?
as a Skater.. myself
i hope the love of finances is spread to dem that need it

💯 he seems like a chill dude but he’s a dick for being that inconsiderate to other skaters

Skateboarding lost the talent it used to hold. 2000-2010 was vibe.
Skateboarding has it's ups and downs, but making Andy Anderson a pro has definetly been a really low point

lol mad cause his styles better than everyone else and he doesn't even have to ride his board.
I don’t think he can skate nearly up to par, so he needs to clown w stuff no one bothers with

Xgames at Rincon 2023, where was Andy Anderson? Probably too scared to watch those true skaters crush that spot.
