- Sunrays have taken more fish than maybe any other modern fly. Originating from Norwegian Laerdal river and Ray Brooks where Mikael used to ghillie, it in many ways changed the fly tradition. This soft swimming version tied on a TTT has the same colours - the great black/white contrast but with the Ostrich hackles forming a modern soft drop form it swims great. When you see the white and black ostrich fibers mix and move its easy to understand why this is such an effective pattern. And like all Samurais its designed to be fished fast!
