  • The long slim winged flies effectiveness has now been proved in almost all rivers we fish. It was born on the Norwegian Laerdal river’s greenish tinted water where also this light grayish green version proved to be extremely effective. This pattern has conquered many big bright fish. We prefer to fish it in clear water under a blue sky or light clouds. The Grey & Green is a fly that fish in all possible sizes. And like all Samurais its designed to be fished fast!

In Michigan we have a green tinted river with lake run salmon and a lot of smallmouth bass.
When the salmon aren't in, I fish a 5 weight 2 hander with some of your flies for bass and they are very, very productive.
I am a big fan of your work. All the best.

Amazing! I received my Pattern Pack this week and tied my first Grey & Green Samurai! Very good information about the turbulent stream / cone size... maybe I should change some cones on my other Frödin patterns?
Oh, and by the way, I fished my first ever Grey & Green today and promptly caught a fish on the quick pull - swing. Perfect! 😁🥳 Thank you, Mikaël!! 💥👏
