Congrats! It is beautiful! We have a 2012 Coachman Freelander 31SS Class C. We started with a 28' Class C with no slides - which was way to small for me, then went to a BIG 34 foot Class A and decided to go back to the Class C. We bought each one used and only had a few issues my husband was able to fix. We travel up an down the east coast - if we venture out west when we retire (LOL) ...would love to meet up with you! Happy Travels! Love to see videos of your adventures!
When we bought our Motorhome, we told them NOT to put the dealer sticker on it. You can remove it by using Avon's 'Skin So Soft'. Just spay the label, let it soak abit and gently remove it. We have a 2017 Fleetwood Bounder 35P with 4 slide outs. Since we bought it, we have driven, so far 51,000 miles from the Midwest to Alaska twice and have stayed in 48 States, missing Vermont and Hawaii.
Congratulations! You and your family will enjoy your travels. We have a 34ft travel trailer toy hauler (for my Spyder), that we love. Do not fear the slide out. It’s great! If it should leak, contact your dealer cause that means the seal is not correct. I don’t empty my slide out under seat cabinets. That’s where everything goes for traveling. We have the Keurig, toaster, etc in separate boxes there. Also, in our overhead cabinets we have the canned goods, rice packets, etc. in plastic bins (from $ 🎄) so the items don’t shift around while in motion. Enjoy your many adventures!
So so nice….ahhhh the memories you and your family will have. My parents were RVers. They traveled thru out the whole USA every state…including Canada and Alaska. They loved traveling. Enjoy your travels……❤️🙋🏻♀️🤗
Congratulations! It's so exciting to be able to travel with your family in comfort. As I watched your tour, I felt as if I was back on our 36 ft boat that we enjoyed so much. The interior was so similar. Wishing you and your family many exciting and safe hours on the road creating fabulous memories .
Steve and I just finished watching! CONGRATULATIONS! WE ARE SO EXCITED for YOU, Matt and the kids! Steve and I plan on following your lead, though we are thinking either Class C or Truck and 5th wheel. I want a pullout bunkhouse that I can convert into a mobile scraproom and take the channel on the road! LOL OBVIOUSLY, not an immediate plan, but inherited money from my mom that I am setting aside for "the dream." SO SO HAPPY for you amiga! ENJOY!!! YOU SO DESERVETHIS!!! XOXOXO 😘😘🥰🥰
Looks beautiful and sure you and your family will be going on alot of adventures and making wonderful memories…can’t wait to see your journeys. Lots of luck and safe travels 💙🙏🏻💙
For sore, you and your family will have a lot more adventures in your new RV. (And I totally understand about your disliking the dealer sticker stuck on the back. When we buy new cars, I always specify that I do not want any decals on my vehicle. They aren't paying us to advertise for them!)
How awesome is that RV Vianney 👏🏻👏🏻😊. I love looking inside those RV’s cause I’m always curious about the size inside and it looked pretty spacious. I love the cabinets and the bathroom was cool and the fixtures were nice too. It’s cool that there is a cover that slides out to give shade too and the sides come out too to make more room. It will be so cool for you when you want to go for a trip. Thanks for sharing and God bless you also, have a great weekend too. Hugs, Sue M. Florida 👏🏻👏🏻❤️🙏🥰👍🏻😎❌⭕️
Great video & very informative. My brother and sis-in-law were just talking about getting an RV for our family trips. It's nice to see how sizable/comfortable yours is. Tfs!
Congrats!!! We have an A Class 40ft and have used it a lot. FYI there is a Military RV Park in Coronado Fiddler's Cove we love going there on the water. Try it out.
Congrats. I had a pursuit from 1998. You had to lift the bed and crawl under. Then the valves were way up under bed. You had to lay down and then reach up and feel for them. No easy access. Hope it was easier for you.i can't believe it. Same exact floor plan but we had a widow over headboard.
Hey congrats on the persuit. I have a 2021 29ss which I love. No major problems so far. I am very impressed with the quality build for the money. That protective shield you got was a good idea. I noticed lots of little chips or nicks in my gelcoat/paint from road debris coming up and hitting the front. Not major but kind of annoying I'm sure you know what I mean. Also, you should have two drain valves underneath the coach near black/grey tank connections for an easy drain of fresh hot and cold water. Good luck and thanks for the 2023 walk through.
That's so great to hear! So far, we did see the fresh water tank under the bed with its own drains, but not great having to access it under there. We also found low point valves in the restroom under the sink area. I will definitely look under where you suggest, it would be much easier!! (: We had a Coachmen Leprechaun before this guy and never had any problems, I'm glad you've had a good experience with your 29SS (we loved that model, too!). Thank you for the information.
Love your new RV. I've been watching a program called Going RV and thinking I wish I could afford to purchase one but who knows maybe in the future. I've never owned one before and it seems kind of scary to know what to do with everything, tanks etc. Hope you guys make a lot of good memories in this new RV. God bless.
Wow. Super exciting. You are so knowledgeable about all the systems. Good for you. I like the convenience features they added like the extra basement storage door. We do not put toilet paper down our system. We wrap it and throw it away. No number 2 either! We added shelves to our pantry area. We do not have a slide out but the awning over it should help. Really nice interior colors. You have lots of adventures in your future.
Beautiful rig! How's it holding up for you 3 months later? Side note...you do NOT have to empty your storage to put the slide out. That's a bit too overly cautious. It's made to hold the weight with it fully extended...it can handle it while moving for 15 seconds.
Oh I hope you take it out even for an overnight & share. Beautiful. Where are you likely to go? What is an MSRP deal thing to not get involved in? I used to have the kind you pull behind a truck. Many memories camping with multiple family members together all the cousins aunts and uncles grandparents, and back to nature no internet or phone service, just fun games like Yahtzee, hearts , scrabble, dictionary game, etc. and smores
Very nice! I was wondering if you have to have a special license to drive one of these big guys? Other than your regular driver's license for cars, I mean.
When we purchased our new 2022 Coachmen Pursuit 27XPS last year, I found so many problems and the dealership would not lift a finger to get it fixed until several months later! Here’s the list of items I found: 1. Hot water heater did not work. Found the 2amp and thermal fuses out. 2. The generator exhaust pipe fell off at the generator. The U-bolt clamp was not tight. It’s a pipe over pipe slip over that requires the U-bold has to tighten until it compresses the pipe. 3. 2 of the 3 dash 12 volt outlets had the wiring reversed, toasting my dash cam. 4. Every panel I opened had trash, sawdust, loose screws, pieces of wire & zip ties behind them. 5. The steering was so out of alignment that we burned through our front tires in only 7K miles. Even after taking it to a Ford dealership to have it alighted due the steering wheel being off. Driving down the road, the steering wheel will be in the 2 o’clock position. 6. After a little over a year of ownership, the vinyl fake wood covering the wood in the RV is pealing off. I’ll necker own another Coachmen product. They have the worst build quality and never purchase anything from Chesaco RV in Maryland!! BYW, the 12V water pumper is under your bed, next to the fresh water tank. I removed all the screws that holds the wooden cover over the fresh water tank that’s under the bed and attached it using a couple of piano hinges, that way I can lift up the board with the bed to access the fresh water tank, water pump and drain valve. This is also the area you access when winterizing your RV by using the fresh water pump to siphon the RV antifreeze throughout your RV.
I agree. I don't use that valve to flush the black tank, I just do the old school way of filling it from keeping the toilet flushing (no number 2s in my RV...that's the rule). For us, it's not been a problem. I had the same feeling when I saw the placement of the flush, but oh well.
Personally, I think that's a good deal...but I would still try and get at least another 5K off. Trust me, they'll do it...or if you're comfortable with that pricing...go for it. That's a phenomenal price already, but they can usually do more. LOL!!
So glad you got another one! More memories to be made! Have a great weekend my friend👋🏽

Too bad you don't have storage under the bed like ours. It was very convient storage. Have lots of fun traveling!

Oh - my kitchen area is soooo small. I bought cutting boards to cover the sink to gain extra counter space when needed. 🙂
Love your RV😊

BYW, the 12V water pumper is under your bed, next to the fresh water tank.

sewer flush tank valve above the city water connection. that should be a big issue for everybody.
I agree. I don't use that valve to flush the black tank, I just do the old school way of filling it from keeping the toilet flushing (no number 2s in my RV...that's the rule). For us, it's not been a problem. I had the same feeling when I saw the placement of the flush, but oh well.
I see this for Sale for $96,999.00. Is that a good deal? They said MSRP is $161,966.00. 40% discount
Personally, I think that's a good deal...but I would still try and get at least another 5K off. Trust me, they'll do it...or if you're comfortable with that pricing...go for it. That's a phenomenal price already, but they can usually do more. LOL!!
