I have one of these for my 11 pro max. I got a MagSafe car mount too, it’s much nicer than the other methods of magnet or clamp style car mounts. Those clamps mounts are ugly, and those other magnet ones will block your wireless charging. MagSafe is becoming so popular now, so I get to have a nice car mount and have wireless charging, and it works with the MagSafe puck too
@Phone Repair Guru if you didn't knew, the gravity sensor and compass in the new iphones are compatible with magsafe and are usually tuned from being destroyed or magnetized from the magnets or tuned to give right readings. But normal iphones are not compatible with magnets which can magnetize thier sensor if we keep for too long ang give incorrect readings. The speakers in all phones are probably magnets but they are kept on the right spots or are tuned for them
This is true, i have iPhone SE 2020 version and when i put my anker wireless charger behind it, it fucks with navigation real hard and sometimes hard to navigate when working lol
hello there, I noticed some sellers from Chinese giant stores are selling cases for iPhones with MagSafe compatibility in that they are using strong magnets in their cases. However, they are manufacturing those cases for phones such as iPhone XR even my question is that since iPhone XR was not designed for MagSafe is it still safe to use a case that has those magnets in them for this phone? Will those magnets damage the phone in anyway, even if not used for wireless charging? This is assuming the case is on all the time, and therefore magnets are near the phone all the time.

I might have a fantastic idea Make a case that connects via USB (usb-c, micro, etc) and make it magsafe compatible, and move the charging port a lil bit to the side, that way you make any phone magsafe compatible (possibly even make a app for phones that make magsafe possible)
There are magsafe magnets to stick them on the back of the phone. The glue they are using probably much stronger since i am using it for over 1 year on galaxy s10+, same magnetic force with iphone and i am hanging on metal walls, magsafe car phone holder.
It's fire the only reason I was upgrading for magsafe as I have a lot magsafe charger in my house because of my brother this works with my iphone 11 pro perfectly
Yeah it's magsafe, but it lack Qi2 compatibility; therefore it only gets 5 watts instead of 15 watts when charing. You're better off getting the 12 line and up.
No, the coil of the watch charger is way too _smol_ for it to work. The iPhone uses the QI wireless charging standard with a coil much larger in diameter.
@@kakarotblue9843 yes. It would be great if Apple would put some smaller coils in the iPhone to be able to charge the Watch from it, but it doesn’t seem they would want you to do that.

Magsafe Case + a cheap metal ring that they sell for you to stick on your phone make a combo that is much stronger than phone’s magnet
You should install the magnets on to phone or inside the existing case

Just buy the car mount that uses a magnet, it’s literally on sale for $9 comes with 2 mounts one holder and magnet with 3m tape on the back
I did it with my Samsung S21 ultra.
