I packed weeks ago for a two month trip then I remembered that I over pack and sometimes don't wear some of the clothes I packed and started removing stuff I may likely not need😂 It's so hard because I always pack extras of pretty much every 😂😂

I feel ya! But if we know that about ourselves then we can be more comfortable taking things out and lightening the load ha honestly, very few times have I don’t that and then regretted it. And it’s funny because no matter how much I pack, I tend to always have that panic moment heading out of town like, “what am I forgetting?!” It’s usually nothing hah good luck and enjoy your trip!! Good thing about a longer trip is you’ll probably plan to do laundry so that helps with the amount of clothing items.

Cute sweater! Good suggestions. My husband and I each took one backpack to a 10 day cruise in Mediterranean and 3 adds days in Rome . Columbia hiking pants that unzip to shorts. Wear a t shirt (or nothing) instead of PJ's or as swimsuit cover up. Wash as you go. Only take things you wear all the time at home because those are the most comfortable. Nobody knows or cares what you are wearing on vaca

Thank you! Wow, yes! All such good points! And don’t you just love cruises?? I haven’t done a Mediterranean one but would love to!

    1. Pack like you have restrictions, even if you don't. Size, weight, number of bags....
    2. When choosing between 2 different bags, choose the smaller of the two.
    3. Research your destination; know what to expect. Consider weather, activities, amenities.
    4. Make a plan. List each day of trip, activity, and list exactly what you will need.
    5. Do not pack for the "what ifs." Only pack for the certainties.
    6. Mix and match items: plan to wear things more than once, use neutrals, multi-purpose items, and accessories. Consider reversible items. Avoid trendy, uncomfortable, or one-wear items.
    7. Pack an outfit and absolute must-haves in your carry-on.
    8. If traveling with others, share what each of you packs. Sunscreen, etc.
    9. Once packed, get rid of at least one thing.
    10. Plan to do laundry while on a longer trip.

Wool& brand has a couple of their dresses that are reversible for a different neckline. The Brooklyn is cute and can be worn frontward or backward, but it doesn’t have pockets. The Summer Midi is also able to be worn frontward or backward and it does have pockets. They are made of a merino wool blend and are great for travel. I’m taking Camellia, another one of their dresses to Europe this summer, and I hope to wear it with a variety of shirts most of the time I’m there.

Ah love that!!! I’ll look into them. I actually am allergic to wool but maybe they have some without wool? Thanks for the info!

@@organizewithe oh, too bad! I think they have a shirt that is linen, but most everything they have is merino wool.

The Chico's brand Travelers line has reversible neckline tops. I love them because they do not wrinkle.
