My Steven Universe recaps are, without a doubt, some of my favorite videos I've ever made! I somehow managed to cram the entire plot of all 6 seasons of the show (plus the movie) in to 2 ridiculously stupid videos. But it's always kinda bugged me that the recap had to be split into 2 parts. Well, now that the show's over and some time has passed, I've decided to finally fuse these two videos together into the ULTIMATE COMPLETE STEVEN UNIVERSE RECAP!

I find not knowing the lore of this show great because comments like these confuse the hell out of me
I do like the fact that they showed Steven's trauma though. I know a lot of shows that have similar storylines where the main character is traumatized and grows up but it never gets addressed. I'm also really proud of how they have Connie handle the proposal, same with earlier there are a lot of shows that would have had her say yes because she feels bad for him, or had her just break up with him. But, no, the "It's not a no, it's a not now" is perfect. I'm really proud of the shows creators for exploring hard topics like this.
I love how in the tackle/hug scene, Spinel just uses her arms like stretchy Armstrong and just hugs everyone.
Mini theory: Pearl doesn’t shapeshift because she shapeshifted into Rose to “shatter” Pink Diamond, the gem she loves, probably traumatized her and shapeshifting reminds her of that; when she resolves her past with Pink she then feels like she can change again this being able to shapeshift into Steven in the SUF (the new form of Pink Diamond)

Not funny I didn't laugh. Your joke is so bad I would have preferred the joke went over my head and you gave up re-telling me the joke. To be honest this is a horrid attempt at trying to get a laugh out of me. Not a chuckle, not a hehe, not even a subtle burst of air out of my esophagus. Science says before you laugh your brain preps your face muscles but I didn't even feel the slightest twitch. 0/10 this joke is so bad I cannot believe anyone legally allowed you to be creative at all. The amount of brain power you must have put into that joke has the potential to power every house on Earth. Get a personality and learn how to make jokes, read a book. I'm not saying this to be funny I genuinely mean it on how this is just bottom barrel embarrassment at comedy. You've single handedly killed humor and every comedic act on the planet. I'm so disappointed that society has failed as a whole in being able to teach you how to be funny. Honestly if I put in all my power and time to try and make your joke funny it would require Einstein himself to build a device to strap me into so I can be connected to the energy of a billion stars to do it, and even then all that joke would get from people is a subtle scuff. You're lucky I still have the slightest of empathy for you after telling that joke otherwise I would have committed every war crime in the book just to prevent you from attempting any humor ever again. We should put that joke in text books so future generations can be wary of becoming such an absolute comedic failure. Im disappointed, hurt, and outright offended that my precious time has been wasted in my brain understanding that joke. In the time that took I was planning on helping kids who have been orphaned, but because of that you've waisted my time explaining the obscene integrity of your terrible attempt at comedy. Now those kids are suffering without meals and there's nobody to blame but you.

The thing that in fact people don't realise in the episode where they heal Steven after he turns into his corrupt form is that it wasn't just a dumb hug and everything is gone. Steven in the end, still has his problems because how tf can he forget basically having his life threatened every day. And it wasn't just a hug: Connie said how Steven has always been able to be there for others to make them feel better, however, when he was having a ton of problems bothering him, there was no one who could properly help him. The hug in the end was to show Steven that even when he is an actual monster, they still love him which is really all Steven needed. He needed validation that his friends and family love him even after everything.

13:40 in my head canon is that it released his gem hologram, but whenever the gem is in steven, it lies in a state of being able to use its powers, but also not being the one to control the weapon, as steven controls it. so steven and his gem are separate entities, but his gem has become part of him and uses him as his sort of bubble, taking the gem out is the same as popping a bubble.

I get why people feel like Steven reviving Jasper immediately after shattering her felt cheap, but to me it hit so hard and heavy. It doesn’t matter that he saved her, he still killed her, and that is fucked. The moment works for me.

My favourite episode was the one where he got to see his dad's normal life. Quite alright, Greg didn't like having to join all those clubs and stuff, but Steven has only ever known danger and stress with bits of fun. Compared to what Steven grew up in, Greg calling his childhood torture just struck a nerve with me. Like, your kid has never been to school, a hospital or anything. He couldn't talk to other kids at some point and his trauma is just so deep.

I've watched every adventure time but I only know the start and bits and pieces of Steven Universe. Pretty sure Ruby and Sapphire is banned in my country because homophobia. After being so lost and not having context to a lot of episodes I just got uninterested but I always wanted to know, it just got so confusing and the episodes kept repeating out of order. Me and my friends always loved adventure time, it's my fav. But I got a bit older and barely watched tv during steven universe so that didn't help. I only knew the first part. I immediately went to watch the scene where steven found out abt ruby and sapphire on yt and fckin cried, ship. But fr I have never even seen Jasper, I've seen the early episodes on repeat so many times. I had no idea abt characters after like 1/6 of the vid

I think how Steven gets his power back is because he remembers to change, (not his underwear) the rejuvenator resets gems and because Steven didn't got poofed is because he's invincible and only his gem got reset to nothing

Also, I can't help but notice, when Steven tries to catch Spinel when he ran away from the stage, when he goes outside with lion, he magically wore his jacket
Also anyone else think Steven's fight with Jasper had a lot of Mob Psycho 100 vibes? Especially with the deranged happy look he gets looks a lot like Mob at the end of season 2.
