I once had a crank sensor go wrong. It does cause intermittent starting issues, it depends where the engine "stops" but always would start up after trying to crank a few times. The crank has to be in the right position for it to start.
@@_bvkoszz_7922 Its 100% the sensor. I had 2 brand new BMW OEM sensors from FCP euro that gave intermitten starting, hard misifres, and misfire codes at high RPM. Put the 27 year old one back in and it works fine.

9the that engine bay is gorgeous. love the diving boards too glad u kept em. my first car was an 87 325is in delphin grey (bought for 1200USD!) with euro bumper swap (the littel chromies), back in 2001 i did a 2.8 stroker with an eta block, then got sick of breaking it and went m50, did mild cams/valvesprings, dinan intake, racechip tune, long tube headers and straight pipe and it SCREAMED Lol. your turbo is acting like a muffler, and it sounds amazing. sadly i sold the car for a ridiculously low amount of money before i ever got the chance to go turbo. now these things cost a fortune lol. regerts.

I have a straight piped m60b40 and the outside ,, load noise ´´ and pops is almost the same ! There is a different sound of r6 turbo and v8 but it is same load :D What a video what a sound ! I Enjoy this so much. Greeting from Czech Republic ! :) ( Sorry for my bad English btw :D )

From most of his videos (he did a similar video pre-muffler delete on the M52), its just a gopro. When hes using the POV shots though he primarily uses the audio from the camera on the bumpper, with the audio from the POV Camera on top. Sounds sick
Had a strange hot start issue always when I shut the car off then back on when the engine was still warm and it would back fire like a mf. Take a few tries to get it going. Ended up being a faulty crank sensor. I believe cam sensor can throw that off as well.
Awesome sound for just a muffler delete. Did you solve the throttle input issue? Was the throttle cut off happening just on WOT? If it happens again, try and see if slowly increasing throttle input is ok. If there's no issue on slow acceleration, you're in for some fun troubleshooting :))) Hope OEM CPS solves it though ✌🏽
BMWs need to have original OEMs sensors. Crank/Camshaft/Knock/Lambda and even TPS needs to be OEM! Even not original brands but prestige ones cause intermittent problems.
i dont care what nobody say M50 Will forever sound better than any other engine ill lowkey swap that other engine in a newer car just for that specific rasp and sound man

I've searched and cant figure it our.... Could you please tell us what your old turbo specs were and what your new turbo is? Im guessing gt3582 with a .63 t3 ? Ive watched most of your videos a few times, never could figure out what you had/have.

Do you know why your tac doesn't work? I bought my car and the only guage that didnt work was the tac but the si board batteries have good charge and the fuse is new.

Not really stock, he is using a m50b25 manifold that has really good flow and because its plastic it has good thermal properties.

Have you upgraded your brakes? If you're still on the original brakes, you're asking for death with this much power lol
