This was the song I wrote and sang with the girls group in 1964 - when Columbia Records signed us to a 5 year contract thinking we were the first girls group from England! I cannot believe someone has found it and placed animation to it. Amazing! Chris Costello
Gary, yes ... Curt was on the recording track. Amazing song writer and beautiful person! He and his writing partner at the time wanted us to record a ballad for the A side of our first record. They played and sang it for us in Curt's apartment in Hollywood. But we wanted to record our own songs. Well, the song we turned down was given to another young group who had just signed with the production company. They were called The Association and the song was "Along Comes Mary."
Chris, who else was in this group with you? And what was it like working with Curt Boettcher? Did he sing on the recording as well? I'm a big fan of his, and I think this song is fantastic!
Hi. Does anyone knows how to obtain the other Bootique song, "Mr. Man of the World'' . As it is not on any official compilation CD. Otherwise i will have to buy the ultrarare 7 inch and have it converted to digital. It is on a Curt Boettcher bootleg but i have not the faintest idea how to buy that.

Great song, hadn't heard it for a long time! Very good to find it here.
What a lovely song and what a charming animation! Both made my day - thank you so much for posting.
This was a pleasant find!
OMG! That is awesome animation! Always liked this song.

This sounds heavily, heavily inspired by The Shoop Shoop Song by Betty Everette.
