Yes! It certainly does, and it’s so very inspiring and has helped me put things into perspective at the bench of the console. And the sights of the lands along the coast have put me into a traveling mood! Wished I had attended AGO 2022!

@@vyvianspipes Definitely worth traveling someplace by train if you're not in a rush!

Aaron, your pondering caused one of Mary Oliver's poems, A Summer Day, to come to mind... she created a lot about being present to every moment... this is the beginning of that poem! Thanks for a great word to start my day.
    A Summer Day.
    Who made the world?
Who made the swan, and the black bear?
    Who made the grasshopper?
    This grasshopper, I mean-
the one who has flung herself out of the grass,
the one who is eating sugar out of my hand,
who is moving her jaws back and forth instead of up and down-
who is gazing around with her enormous and complicated eyes.
Now she lifts her pale forearms and thoroughly washes her face.
Now she snaps her wings open, and floats away.
I don’t know exactly what a prayer is.
I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down
into the grass, how to kneel down in the grass,
how to be idle and blessed, how to stroll through the fields,
which is what I have been doing all day.

Thanks, Sandy -- how fitting! Totally caught up in a moment, this is exactly what I think music can do for us :)

Aaron!! I really like your Shows’ shows!! And yes, this one resonated with me. When I was playing the piano or organ, I noticed a tendency for me to speed up. I don’t know why, but in my own performances, I think I am looking forward to the last note and a successful finish. Anyways , I have been learning to remain in and enjoy the present. Great thoughts and a very humorous and clever video~ thanks for “training” us to be in the present

That last sentence says it all! It's tough to keep track of all the puns... Thanks for your compliments :)
