Since we mostly do the cameras with human and vehicle detection, we do the Hikvision DS-7608NI-I2 or the DS-7616NI-I2. The we just pick out how much hard drive storage we want.

Hello, you commented that you often use the DS-7608NI-I2/8P NVR unit. If I were to put 2 hard drives in this unit can you confirm for sure that I would be able to run a RAID 1 setup where data hitting the first drive is always mirror copied to the second drive? i.e.: such that if one drive failed I would still be up and running on the other with my data preserved…Thanks for any help you can provide…I just want to be sure the software on it can do it before purchasing…Considering this NVR with a couple Hikvision dome cameras…Good video…

@@dlj1285 why would one have to be an IT professional to setup a raid array? In fact, it has nothing to do with IT lmao. For the record, I’ve been setting up raid arrays on my pc’s since the late 90’s and I’m a metal fabricator. Also, I see you’re very quick to respond to my comments, yet his comment went a year with no response. Lol
I have to say, I was extremely disappointed with my hikvision cameras on the TV series, the rules of the game. I hope the installer regrets his decision to do what he did, putting cables through to the hospital via the cloud and Keith, the next-door neighbour. It has ruined my life. My workplace colleagues were able to watch me undress and wanted to get dirt on me, thinking I was a porn star. They set up the cameras, and my brother, Dominic 44 69, and a Tory MPs girlfriend set me up with her ex-husband to try to catch me out with my date. It has damaged me emotionally so much that I have been unable to date. I hated that my workplace was able to comment on how I looked and made derogatory remarks on inviting a boyfriend back to my flat. I hadn't dated since my divorce, 2 years earlier, and I felt very low in confidence as it was. This completely destroyed me. 😔 and people wonder why I became a recluse. This is one of the reasons.
If the cameras are POE back to the NVR and the NVR has no power, then your cameras will not record. If you have a single powered camera that's a plug in and it has a SD card, then it would recored as long as the outlet it was plugged into had power.
Could you possibly get more gay with the fireplace scene in the background and the t-shirt that's 3 sizes too small for you, so that you look more swole? LOL wtf you guys are simply hilarious

You will probably have to un-install it to get the model number. It's typically on the backside.

Bhai Hikvision cc camera installed in my shop. Now if there is no current, if the main line (shop) is off, will it be recorded?
