If the day comes, because it could happen, where I need to realign my lifestyle so that it pleases God, I would be thankful that the Church will be there to help, correct and help me restore in the same way.❤️
Here’s my thing, all have fallen short. Whether it’s public or in private. So what I’m confused is at why is there an open rebuke of one sin when I’m sure everyone in that choir has fallen short. It is not anyone else’s business about why he is kicked out or separated. That is something that should’ve been kept between them and God. Whether the sin is “noticeable” or not, it’s still sin. So why take action because it public? To prove something to other people that ain’t God? What I’m saying is that if we are going to kick out people for merely sinning then no one should be in any kind of leadership. And everyone should either be publicly rebuked or privately approached about the manner at hand. Cause there isn’t any big or little sin. Wrong is wrong. But I don’t think the public statement was necessary. Just in my personal opinion. And my frustration isn’t aimed at you in any way my brother/sister in Christ. I just get so tired of the church picking and choosing what sin to correct because it’s public, or it’s a sin they themselves wouldn’t commit. It’s just annoying to me tbh

My opinion when throwing the first stone comes into play is for example with you loss your temper in an argument and you get to cussing or say things you know should have not come out of your mouth Christian or not. Risqué music is not a drug, alcohol or a lustful temptation. I guess it could be but there are the rated PG-R version off songs. Just don’t listen to the PG-R because the XXX can become tempting. I’m not excusing drugs, alcohol and sex. What he is doing may not be a sin. It just maybe unbecoming on a Christian and the values they are trying to uphold. Wishing you Love Peace and Happiness.
MC never claimed they had never sinned. But as Christian’s, especially very public Christian’s, they were right, biblically, to take a stand. When you have a “leader” praising satan worshipers, getting drunk, and posting it on social media, and singing along to uh-Christlike songs, you have to ask how sweet and bitter water flows from the same fountain. They’ve not turned their backs on him and I’m confident they’re willing to walk along with him, if that’s what he wants. A good reminder that we are in this world but not of it, and you’ll either be an example to the lost or risk becoming one. Jesus fellowshipped with the lost and it was life changing for them.

I was stunned when I saw this. Even a little teary😢 because I sooO love both Dante and Maverick City. But you know what? This whole situation from what I have seen and heard so far has been handled in total and absolute love ❤ just the way Jesus teaches, and it is sooO obvious that it is God’s heart 🕊 that is at the very core of this dispute and

When called out for lifestyle when you have that much influence is not holier than thou , it is actually true love . God disciplines those He loves . The chastisement of our peace was poured out on Jesus our Savior . Jesus took our punishment and there is a standard to which He calls us and we all fall short but when we do we need discipline with love which was done perfectly.
People need to know that everyone is human and that we all fall. ANd most of the times its due to pressure, lack of support and accountability. I loved Dante and I’m not going to judge but my brother what happened😢anyway I hope he reevaluates what he wants going forward. If we use the “cast the first stone” position on everything we end up looking just like the world! Speak the truth on love. Challenge and encourage one another as the end is near!
This reveals an important issue where people just enjoy someone's music and don't actually use it to worship God, they just listen to it because it's good music. I would advise you to seriously consider your relationship with God and ensure that you actually have a relationship with him and ask him to help you not to idolise anything in His place.
No one is stoning him. As a parent if you correct your child you are doing out of love not judgement. We ALL need correction at different points in our life. They handled it in a loving manner. Hopefully, the issue will resolve and or be restored and make for a stronger testimony for both parties.

The fact he recognized his need to step back…the separation was a good thing. Some people have to be jarred in order to get focus. To whom much is given much is required…accountability is something most of us Christians feel we are exempt from henceforth the cliches justifying living out of order.
Pausing a relationship with a brethren when scripture says if we see a brethren who has fallen we who are spiritual are to restore them back. I pray for God divine will to be done in his life in the name of Jesus.
But Scripture also says to warn or correct a brother. Maverick City has only paused professional ties for now but they are supporting him personally, even Dante said that in his post. We have to be responsible with the platform given to us and I really appreciate him for taking a step back and reflecting on everything rather than retaliating. He's a man of wisdom.
There are offices we occupy that needs us to be very very careful. Even guilt alone won't even allow you function well again.

God is not looking for talented singers, musicians, nor talented preachers. He is looking for obedience to His written word and those who worship Him in Spirit and truth. But at the same time, since none of us are perfect, He also desires us to wrap our hands in love and prayer to those who seek repentance and guidance. this is not the right time to even turn a hair away from the written word of Christ. We are living in the last days and the rapture is right around the corner saints!

The truth is to judge or defend without full knowledge of the facts and truth about this situation is in error. With this truth applying to me I will operate accordingly and not comment based on my emotions. I encourage us as Believers to be mindful of this and obey the Word in Luke 6:31 and do unto others as we would have them to do unto us. We could be either in Dante Bowe or Mav City's position therefore we should consider if we would want others to make judgments without knowing the facts. Praying! 🙏🏼

We are all human and we make mistake… though to me is no mistake. There is too much pious and hypocritical aspirations in our world today. I’m praying for DB and know God is holding his hands and embracing like family should. He will bounce back. He will be more aware and mature in his steps going forth. I have faith in his journey forward not backwards. His light will shine brighter because he is not in denial about making a mistake. Your voice and lyrics has lifted me up since I lost my 19yrs old daughter tragically. We both loved and sang your songs of uplifting praise and I won’t stop now DB. More power to you. This is why the Bible tells us to not be unequally yoked- to be in, not of, the world. To be careful what we are feeding ourselves (music and entertainment, because it can lead us to make bad choices in life!)
