Hi Kerry. My runner beans Enorma...hmm....sowed them too soon..grew like mad...planted them under bubble wrap....I think of 12 planted I might save 6!! Got more growing in my indoor greenhouse in my Bothy...garden 'room' ...ex garage!! dwarf beans also looking really sad. I have made a note in my 2025 calendar NOT to plant too early.....hmm...will I listen to myself?? 😂😂😂 Your plot looking really neat n organised. Big hugs xxx
I gave just planted mine today so fingers x . Monty said that sweet peas. Not keen on cold but should be ok to plant out if it warms up a bit grslic is ready when leaves start to go yellow Take them out pop into bundles of say 10 dry with stems still in in a well aired place for 2weeks then cut leaves off leaving about 1 inch on the bulb and only remove. Dried leaves . They should store for up to nest 6months if kept dry. Use the biggest bulbs to see next time . You can plant another batch when these are pulled up. , they will be ready in the autumn . Then do the same thing again using the biggest bulbs to plant should give you bigger bulbs each time So as I found this out , thought it may help you as well. Hehe
Yes the blackbird and robin are V decipherable....I never use to take much notice of the bird song ..during lockdown when there were no metal birds to annoy us in the sky it was blissfully quiet and I noticed the bird song more so now I appreciate it way more.....lockdown to me was brilliant !!! I even recognise a dunnock now I never knew I had ....it's beautiful its so underrated by people who just take it for granted ......I don't ❤❤❤❤
Oh we loved the first lockdown as well Carole, being in town it was so unusually quiet compared to loud traffic noise that you don't realise how loud it is until it's not there any more. Absolute bliss for a short while. Me too re birdsong, am a head over heels twitcher now🐦💕😄
Evening Kerry, bird song is lovely to listen to. Everything is looking great, did you not vlog to sewing of the lettuce seeds? That way, you could check back to see where exactly you put them.
