As a football fan I am sick of a game that is increasingly bloated by crazy money and totally warped perspectives and its features like this that remind me why I love the sport. Well done Copa90!
I never thought id say this but i think were so lucky in Ireland to have two two league where no-one in Ireland gives a fuck about including the fai . The premier division and the first division are leagues which are similar in quality to league two but facilities and grounds are like 70's football standards! are you Ok? say what you want, you'll be forever a secluded, nothing keyboard-moaner, and humans like Lewandowski / Suarez / Neymar will be part of Greatness
@@netweed09 Greatness is fleeting. Say what you want, you'll be forever a fan of plastic and these people will have football they can be proud of forever.
@@LordZontar Lol, calm yourself kid; I'm an Arsenal fan for over 25 years and for life and haven't seen a Major trophy for over 15 of those now. Well, 'those' people can do what they want - but then Dortmund were once largely fan driven and so are Eibar and FC St Pauli and they're all the Top Divisions of their Leagues. There's one thing being passionate, loyal and ambitious, and the other being a zealous partisan idiot nobody outfit
@@netweed09 And who says FCUM is an "idiot nobody outfit"? You? Because they're not big like Arsenal? And just what makes you passionate for Arsenal? What makes you live and die with the club even though it's floundering in the middle of the Premiership table and hasn't won major silverware in more than a decade? Well, that's why the FCUM fans are committed to their side, for the same emotional reasons. It doesn't matter that they're not in the top flight. It's the club they found a connection with. Same as you found your connection to the Gunners and will stick with them even if they fall through the lower divisions. Because they're your side, and a true supporter sticks with his side no matter what. I know what that's like. I grew up with a local NFL team that knew nothing but losing seasons year after year after year when nothing seemed to work. But they were my team and I stuck with them even through those appalling years of endless misery, of being the joke of the league, when four wins was considered a "good" season. And that's why you are committed to Arsenal and the FCUM fans are committed to their side. Once a team really hooks you in the heart, there's little else you can do.
that little clip of the stand at @7:10 is a brilliant picture, what english football used to be, terraced stand packed to the brim, flags, chanting noise, and what do we have now, soulless stadiums where we're not allowed to sing, big respect to FCUM, even though im tottenham would love to come up and experience the atmosphere one day, get a proper old school feel which due to my age i never got, even though my family got it, jealous
I grew up in Manchester hating Man Utd but I absolutely love what they are doing at FC United of Manchester. What a great thing they've got. Makes my hairs stand up hearing that 'This is our club' chant. Great stuff.
I like that there is a bit more documentaries on english football storied now on copa90 than before when it was just loads of eastern european derbies that came about from politics
Do a documentary on Hinckley AFC, used to be called Hinckley United but this absolute arsehole took over and made the club go in debt and eventually we folded 😔 but last year Hinckley AFC was created and in their first season they had a 26 game unbeaten run and a finished 3rd in their league, we also get about 200 fans each game which is great for our league because we are in the Midland League Division One. Thanks for reading.... I hope we'll see you guys down at one of our games soon.
to be able to their own ground without any investment from rich businessmen or the council, all from fan given donations is very impressive to be honest. Hello from Portugal SL Benfica is with FC United of Manchester! Thanks for that ovation that you made to my club in your stadium. You are real fans, like we are
Zlatko Edgar Football is a business nowadays. The owners came in 2005 and they stopped supporting the club. Many fans now still don't like the Glazers but they still support the club that they grew up supporting

Great club and I have followed them since last season but I'm not from near Manchester I support a team called spennymoor town fc who are 2 leagues below this great non league club. Good luck this upcoming season to everyone at FC United of Manchester.
My team, Hereford FC (formerly Hereford United FC) are going through something similar. It's more what AFC Wimbledon have done really but similar to FC United of Manchester in building a team from scratch and starting low in the league system.

Hate Manchester United & City, but if i lived locally could easily see myself going along to see these guys, grassroots footballs where its at, where it's still about the football and the fans, not just about the money. I wish the Prem could be more like this, with more fan owned teams, instead of foreign investors that don't give a fuck about the history or meaning of the club just there own profits. And before anyone tells me that it's not possible, just look at the Bundesliga where most of the clubs (who are outperforming ours in Europe as of recent) are completely fan owned, their terraces are full of impassioned fans because they have a real say in their clubs making them feel more connected and just makes a nicer vibe

From Indonesia for FCUM.. LUHG!!!!
My team Whitby Town FC played FCUM there was 800 people there and our stadium only holds 600!
I train at the astro pitch next to fc united u can hear the chants when they're having games its amazing.
"We're pieces of a jigsaw that don't fit into anyone else's puzzle"
