This was one of the best series I've ever watched. I cried multiple times, and some of the things he said made me realize things about myself and how certain traumatic incidents in my life have affected me.

So true. That it's showing the gray in the situation and that you could feel for a person like Martha, in the same time you want to run as fast away from her.

Baby Reindeer is an absolute masterpiece that held me spellbound from start to finish. While some may struggle to accept the reality of someone as mentally disturbed as Martha, it's important to acknowledge that individuals like her do exist, and many of them engage in cyberstalking almost as a profession.

💯 and the fact that she was a women helped . The number of people like her online stalking and desperately seeking attention from people they don’t know is terrifying. With the internet it’s almost impossible to stop it

I loved this show so much. I didn’t know it would expand beyond the stalking but I’m so glad it did and how he told his story so unfiltered. I’m a woman and when I was SA’d it was under very different circumstances, yet I have never felt so understood. These types of stories where the lines are blurred are just as important as the black and white stories where there’s an obvious bad guy and victim. I understand every thought and emotion he had and I felt myself wanting to hug him the entire time. That feeling of dread, hopelessness, and defeat is the most relate part of his story. He’s a hero to me now because of all that he’s been able to do with his life despite what happened❤️

Thank you Shelby for this beautiful comment 💕 I think as you said the way he was able to describe his own feelings was what made this show exceptional.

Weird how everyone can see how Richard also went on to do horrible things due to trauma but can't understand that Martha did horrible things due to trauma too. I'm 100% sure Martha didn't want to hurt Richard but that was attracted to something because of something that happened to her. She didn't want to shame him either she thought everyone already knew something happened to him because it was posted openly.

Wow! 🤯 This series blew me away. Every episode had me fully invested, and the execution was top-notch. The most impactful moment for me was when Donny's father confessed to being a Catholic altar boy. It is always crushing to see how a parent's actions can cause harm to their children, but it was also the moment when Donny seemed to reclaim his power. By learning the source of his madness, he could move forward. Overall, the series was fantastic, and I appreciate your great review, as always. 🥂

I was yelling at my tv 70% of this series, then saying okay Donny I know you're trying your best but please get some help. Best character is Donny's dad. Having a stalker messed up my relationships and the way I interacted with others, and though I haven't watched this series, I deeply relate to what's been said in this video. love to see the reaction that series causes now. it hits like a bomb on social media. well deserved! Haven't seen something so good in a very long time. I think cause its deeply human. there is no black ad white- right or wrong. good or bad. It plays with your judgement constantly. you wanna hate martha for the psycho she is till you see her tragic vulnerable side and you switch to feel immediately sorry for her. you can't understand the passive behavior of donny until it makes sense after episode 4, so you constantly shift from one feeling to the other and i think thats why it is so successful.

    • @alwayswatching2295

I feel as though toxic masculinity is one of the causes for the poor publicity. Sadly, I have personal relationships with some who will not be able to see the depth of this series. They too enthusiastically embrace the limitations of toxic masculinity, how it limits one’s full exposure to all of humanity
