After driving it for around 25k miles for around a year and a half i think this is a really good SUV from hyundai. It's great looking in the night and one of the most comfortable drives in this price range.

Great features, but It's 2 years old globally, not new, albeit a strip down version from international model and also missing basic features for the price. Poor show Hyundai.. Differences:
    1. Alloy wheels
    2. Shift by wire
    3. Auto opening Boot
    4. Storage space on side of the leg
    5. Wireless Android Auto
    6. Hybrids missing
    7. Heated ORVMs
    8. Sun Blinds
    9. 19" Wheels
    10. Sunglass Holder
    11. Cooled Glovebox
    12. Driver Roof Handle
    13. Boot organizer by spare wheel
    14. Tight spot parking assistance
    15. Designer exhaust
    16. Flow design element along shift by wire console
    17. Empty buttons on gear console
    18. Paddle shifters
    19. Coat hooks
    20. Warning light on door

Tiguan and Kodiaq don't offer diesel engines and their petrol engines aren't as fun as Tucson's diesel engine. Jeep makes unreliable cars. If these reasons aren't enough then there are people who don't want to buy VW because they make unreliable cars.

Interiors look more like the Alcazar. OTR Rs 40L for the top diesel on the road is very steep and that lackluster petrol engine/gearbox is of putting...

Not sure what Hyundai's plan is this time in India? Hyundai Tucson's previous AWD version costed 32 lac on road. The new one shown above costs 40.5 lac approximately. A hike of 9.5 lac does not make sense. Plus no matter how cool the ADAS features might sound but its not a relevant feature for the Indian car market, where lane driving is still a dream. Pricing it higher than Jeep and it's sister company's Kia Carnival's Limousine variant not the best plan.

In my opinion, cheap in the sense less solid. Unlike it's vw competition and their EU standard seem like a better option at that rate for a lot of people.

Came to see this car in the showroom today, not at all impressed with this car.
    1. Over expensive don't know why(would have projected 4 lakhs approx less for a good sale)
    2. Small spare wheel
    3. hand gear shift paddles are missing
    4. back seats sunblinds are missing
    5. Air purifier is missing which is a must
    6. Round steering is not that good
    7. Ac should have buttons, the current design of ac glossy area is not good can be improved
    8. Digital meters are not that appealing as compared to rivals
    9. Gears lever are taken from Creta and a car at this price shouldn't be coping the small segment.
    10. Again it has bose speakers taken from Creta same number of speakers and the sound quality is the same.
    11. the infotainment system is not appealing too.
    12. At this price we expect 8 airbags at least but this car has 6 airbags only.
Haven't driven it so till now this is what I felt also at the showroom we were not allowed to switch on the ignition so not sure how much noise this car makes.

As I use an A1 & A4 Avant - my first impression - the Tucson is absolutely not classy and can’t never come near the interior quality of Audis “even from 2002 models”.
Didn’t get a chance to test drive but the AWD would be the better choice for India (bummer that there’s no hybrid or Petrol AWD)
Audio system quality - one need to check that thoroughly for a price above 20 lakhs.

With XUV 7OO, it's 2.2L mHawk Diesel engine churning out 185HP and healthy 450Nms is more VFM.
This Tuscon should've been priced between 24-29ish Lakhs.

Torque and power in cars means if you want to reach the car's top speed quickly more torque is required which is measured in Newton Metres or Nm but if one wants to maintain that top speed power is required which is measured in bhp meaning break horse power, that's Indian measuring system. In diesel vehicles torque is more and bhp is less but in petrol vehicles power is more and torque is less. Packed to the gills means the diesel or petrol have been filled in the vehicle and the electronics are working properly. In Indian slang people they have learnt to drive vehicles on kerosene and that is sad for India and that's why India is called jugaad country and that is why India is still developing country and not developed country like USA or Japan

The panaromic sunroof opens so little that's it's really unusable. I asked my SA to stand when it's opened, he can't stand. Such a quality issue at this high price point is really disappointing. BTW, no review mentioned this.
