Excellent job, esp. in the comparison with other similarly-scaled figures. Keep up the good work, brother.

Nice comparison, but I don't agree with you on MS Megs being too big for MS Prime. They're pretty much identical in height to the top of the head and difference in width is negligible. G1 Megatron just has a ridiculous proportion to his chest. Twice as wide as it is tall. New Age Megs looks....ok, but having owned both I wound up selling the New Age Megs. Too fiddly.

NA Megatron has upgrade legs available which look a loot better frontally.
The MS version is incredibly complex and has an insane amount of transport linkages in it which makes for a decidedly unfun transformation while the NewAge is pretty intuitive once you have transformed it a couple of times.
The MS alt mode is far from good while the Newage is great.
I prefer the robot proportions of the NA as Megatron isnt supposed to be a steroid abusing beefcake, he wasnt that wide even in Dreamwave versions.
All that being said the Magic Square version is incredibly clean and in bot mode, like their Optimus Prime, you could think it was a non transforming figure at first glance, it just hides everything away so well and that amount of engineering for the money is a great buy IMO.
I prefer the NewAge (Megatron) though, its fun to transform, is good looking in both modes and the plastic feel is significantly better, who can complain about having options though ;)

Great comparison. Totally agree with you on the face. You do know that newage sells a leg upgrade right? There's also a 3rd party back piece. Clean up problem solved.

Hey thanks. Yes knew about the Newage kit, but thought it only fair to compare them as they shipped!

@@magnumprime I got that set and it only works well for the back, Barely. If you look from the front its visible like 2 arcs going over half his shoulders, the back half but still there. The filler piece for the front part doesnt fit properly so the intendations is not 100% correct if youre gonna have it centered edge to edge. Too bad it doesnt fix Agamemnons biggest problem, the hip joints, the poor bastard can hardly sit and make it look natural and fights me when i try to do more air poses or copy an attack pose from the comics

Just me or does the first one’s chest look a bit chunky on camera?
