Nice detail showing how much you can fit. how do you find the straps when carrying a heavy load for a distance? Does it get uncomfortable over time with no back support?
Thank you I appreciate it! For this size a bag I find it decently comfortable, the 90L and up I think I'd start to find it uncomfortable after some time. It wont be as comfortable as a backpacking pack with good back support if you're carrying a lot of weight but for the amount of weight you can fit into the 60L I think it's good.
Yes I've traveled with the one in this video. Same bag different sizes, sometimes they run out of stock on sizes. I wouldn't advise going bigger than 60l though for carry-on.
I want a proper duffel (i e, not flimsy cheap nike/adidas etc) WITH a shoulder strap. Using the backpack straps or the carrying straps over the shoulder doesnt work for me with most bags, theyre too short.
Hey Nick!! I have a question. I'm shopping around for a black hole bag and noticed that the Patagonia website only has a 40l and then jumps to a 45l. Is the 45l they're older one and now its 40l? I'm confused haha. Thanks!
Sebastian Tedesco I’m not Nick but yeah that’s right. The 40L replaces the 45L. Hopefully it’s not the same as the new 55L which replaced the 60L, where the 55L is actually BIGGER in size than the 60 so... 🙈
May have to squish it a bit, but it does! I usually only keep clothes in there for that purpose and put all electronics/bulky items in a separate bag in the overhead.

You can use carabiners to secure the handles to the daisy chain when using in backpack mode.

The pouch zipper flips around to form a true pouch instead of an in between space like you said.
How would it go sitting on top of a large suitcase with the bag handles around the suitcase handle?

Hello! For a 60L as a carry-on bag, will it go under the seat inside the aircraft instead of the overhead bin?

its actually a little too big for carry on a plane according to regulation measurements, they could force you to check it in
