I love this version of amalgam, the rhythm of jungle makes it more frenetic but without losing the lugubrious atmosphere and the end part sounds like heartbeats
I like the idea that Alphys took the six souls with her to the true lab while you were fighting asgore and was trying to use the DT extraction machine (or a super weapon in this case) to kill the entire underground so you have to get the amalgam to help you defeat Alphys before she kills everything
The theme that plays when you fight versions of monsters that were strenghened forcefully, something which Alphys did with the intention to make monsters stronger in order to use their strenghened souls to break the barrier, and secretly attack Asgore to become the new Queen when the time came, also maybe these would be completely exposed to Hotland to test the minds of the locals and scare off anyone who approaches Alphys' lab.
