As I listen to this song, I am reminded of all the happiness felt during my youth. The laughter, the friendship… I also think about my loved ones-family members and friends who had gone ahead of us… I just wish I can relive the life I had back when I was a kid. Not a worry in the world… I guess, it aches because I ak reminded that nothing is permanent. And that there will come a time when each of us will leave this earthly world sooner or later… there’s just too much a single song from the past can do. I love this song still despite the sadness it brings…

Those were the "Sweetest Days" when this song came out. My Father was living and so many relatives passed since. I still have my Mother but she's in a Nursing home with Dementia. Yes Indeed those were the Sweetest Days!!
