Thanks for this video. I recently bought a BMW E92. My daily is a Lexus IS250 & I bought an android head unit to make it a bit more modern. The Lexus has one of the best stock sound systems I've ever heard in a car and I didn't lose any audio quality due to the replacement - some of them aren't compatible with the Mark Levinson audio system - the one I went for was, and worked perfect.
I bought a retrofit android head unit kit for the E92 and had to rip it out and put the stock unit back in because the audio quality was just horrendously bad. I went for the Eonon P4, bought a bunch of right angled cables so I could have a really clean install and it looks OK, but sounds so much better than the retrofit kit!
Hi Dave super review. I just recently bought the P4 from Amazon. As soon as I ordered I received it the next day. This unit really is the 'Doggies Do-Dahs'! For the money it's a no brainer absolute quality. If you put your phone on auto rotate you can get the mirror image on the unit to rotate the same on most apps

Hi Dave, thank you for the detailed review! May I ask how is the dashcam experience when driving? Will it be very shaky especially on bumpy road condition?
I found the videos to be surprisingly stable on bumpy roads, the window on mount help take away the bumps.

Does the reverse camera view pop up while you are in android auto if you put the car in reverse?
It would be a bit annoying to go to the home screen every time if I want to reverse. The split screen is kind of a solution, but I´d rather have the option to be in full screen and just get the split screen momentarily when I reverse.
If you put the reverse trigger wire to reverse bulb then it automatically switches to reverse view, when you come out of reverse it returns to android auto screen without pressing anything

@Winter.d.3rd directly to the reverse bulb wire, so when reverse is engaged it triggers the unit change to reverse view
Thanks for the informative review mate. Just a quick one. Does the unit comes with a built in microphone? If not which mic does it used when making or receiving phone call. And what's the audio quality when streaming via Bluetooth or aux given that this unit doesn't have a preamp. Or does it utilised the car head unit pewamp. Thanks in advance.
The P4 does have a built-in mic.
Sound quality through aux and Bluetooth is very good....I believe it uses the amp of the headunit you are using

Hi sir can you help I have purchased an Android screen similar to the one you had I watched many of these videos and it seems to be the same thing no mention of the both apps that you use second light no mention that it doesn't let you look at all your phones apps or am I doing something wrong any upper be appreciated

Hey I just purchased this product and wanted to know how you are managing the power of the device when you turn your car on and off. Do you have to shut down the screen every time you get out the car?
The screen shut down automatically when ignition is turn off and turns back on with ignition....my 12v port is ignition live, so no power when ignition is off
@@whatsdavedone104 thank you! My car port unfortunately remains on after the ignition is off. Do you recommend any way to get around that?
Either unplug at port when you turn ignition off or purchase a USB C hardwire kit, connect it to an ignition live fuse

Good morning from Spain. May I ask you whether or not have you tried FM sound quality? If so, what's it like?
Once you find a good clean signal the quality is very good, some FM frequency will pick up interference but just search through to find a clean signal.
Thanks for answering my question. I've just bought another brand (it's coming home) but I'm seriously thinking on send it back because I really value the 4k.dashcam and FM sound quality because of i don't have another method to send sound to my old car. Thanks again.
The 4k dash cam and reverse camera are brilliant, nice clear images even in the dark. With the help of an app you can download all videos from dashcam to your phone, rather than having to remove the sd card (that is supplied) and uploading to a computer.

Hi there! Sorry for being so annoying but, do you know whether or not the original lighter plug 🔌 have to be used? The radio seems not being working and I suspect it's because I've tried it out using a USB wire..😅
I use min with a original cable or aftermarket cable to a power bank....you can also get usbC hardwire kits that connect to an ignition live fuse
Ok. I will check out the original wire because using a usbc wire the radio isn't working.
Well... I think I've found my two issues. Firstly I was using an USB C type wire and even though the device got power and worked, radio FM wasn't working properly. After using the original (lighter 🔌 plug), my car and the P4 met at the same frecuency.. however I was unable to get internet so no music to listen to 😢😢.. And the issue was that I had disabled on my smartphone the option "Auto switch to mobile network". After enable that one not only do I have internet but also music lo listen to 😂...
