There's a lot happening on screen in a game like Vicky 3, and your current style of narration and focus based editing is, in my opinion, already an ideal format for this style of game!

Isn't the reputation of "graveyard of empires" wildly overstated? Iirc England invaded twice, failing the first time and winning the second time but still being a true empire for quite some time. And the Soviets would've fallen apart maybe a little slower if they hadn't invaded but they were beyond broke at the time either way.

Since I’m sure everyone here plays them, would you guys suggest getting vic3 or ck3? I’m a huge fan of paradox games but don’t yet have these two with eu4 being my favorite of the lot
CK3 is a more worthy purchase right now. It has significantly more content, users, and mods. Maybe after the first major update/dlc Victoria 3 might be worth purchasing, but right now, the price is a little too high for such a content less game.

Big mistake. You should have passed debt slavery. Debt slavery makes it so pops below a certain wealth threshold permanently become slaves, up to a maximum of 20% of the population of a given state. If you put a tax on grain, and up taxes to max you can enslave 20% of your population in less than a year. Then, super cheap labor forever!
