  • Installing termite bait stations is easy and can be done with a few simple tools and a little elbow grease!
    - Choose the spots you'll be installing bait stations. You'll want them every 10-15 feet around the perimeter of your foundation.
    - Use a tool like a spade, an auger, or a bulb shovel to dig out a hole the size of the station. Make sure to dig 1-3 inches deeper than the length of the bait station
    - Check the bait stations every 90 days
    - If termite activity is found, replace the inspection cartridge with a Trelona Bait Cartridge and check on it in 90 days. If termite activity has ceased, replace the Trelona with a fresh Inspection Cartridge and repeat the process!
    * Remember, these bait stations do not create a barrier against termites. If you have an infestation of termites, a full treatment is required. We recommend contacting a termite expert.

Add bait stations is a second layer of protection. It is not a bad idea. I like to install them after the soil has been treated.
