Hey man, I am in the lawn business and specialize in bermuda grass. Recommended mowing height for bermuda is 1-2 inches...sometimes even lower if you have a leveled lawn and a reel mower. Bermuda does not do good long and then when you mow, it cuts the green out if you cut off more than 1/3 of the plant, giving you brown areas. I hope this helps.
I had a cousin that spent his life on a farm in Alaska. Before the talking heads started their anti-oil campaigns twenty years ago he told me that they had a dust problem on their 100 yard long dirt driveway and for several years they kept the dust down by pouring the used oil from their farm equipment on it. He said that they had to stop that practice because the grass and weeds grew so fast that they had to constantly mow the driveway.
@@AdvancedLawn Yes. Al gore's lies made many billionaires out of millionaires. the crap just keeps flowing and the little sheep keep grazing. Global warming has happened many times. We are still here.
I think you put down double the rate you're supposed to and you have to water it in on the spot. If you don't you'll have a yellow and brown lawn like you see here.
This was my first time doing it. I did it to get rid of the brown and it definitely did some of that. I used that amount on the front and back yard so it ended up getting much less.
