I would love a Tonex licence since I'm into some old Orange, Matamp, Earth, Sunn and vintage Ampeg amps that are too big, heavy and hard to ship, and most need a ton of work and a good tech get to a playable state, so helping a Community grow and preserve these kind of amps would be fantastic, thanks.

Recently, I began uploading guitar playing videos to RUclips on a weekly basis. It would be fantastic to have the Tonex, as it offers a wider variety of tones and can greatly enhance audio quality. The software sounds amazing; in fact, I was even contemplating selling my multi-effects pedal to acquire the Tonex pedal. However, if I were to win a software license, such a step wouldn't be necessary. This way, I could hold onto my pedal, which I genuinely adore. I've been a follower of your channel for many years, and you've truly become a standard-bearer in terms of sound quality

A very slight low mid is more present on the actual amp but without an AB there is no way to tell which is which. Anyone claiming otherwise should stop listening with their eyes. I'd like a license to ToneX max, I am an indie small time guitar player trying to get a project started and I am in a process to determine the tone I want for it ... but I am no millionaire to demo dozens of amps and play around with them! As always, awesome tones and even better riffs. I love the way the Tone X mimics the tone of that orange amp. It is just awesome. I have been looking around for a amp modeler like this for a while now but only trying out the free versions to see what I like. And the Tone X modeler is just the right choice for that. I am currently using a combo amp at home which works, but can be quite annoying when you want to have a bit more control over your sound and volume. If I would be able to get the Tone X modeler I would be able to explore the different sounds it comes with and try out new stuff. It would be such a perfect plugin. And ofcourse there is a lot of awesome tones that comes with it.

With these blind tests, I always tend to guess that the "better" sounding amp is the real amplifier, because of course it would be, and I'm always wrong. I've slowly come to realize that when choosing an amp in these blind tests, the amp that sounds better to me is the model! That was definitely true here. I guessed that A was the model simply because it sounded better to me!

They were so close. It was at the very beginning at the first change and my ears (on decent but not great ear buds) picked out the fuller base on B. Then for most of the song I couldn't tell. It wasn’t until the very end where I heard the fuller base again and made my guess that B was the real amp. But they were so close.
As someone trying to be a home studio musican with a die hard love for valve amps. Getting the tonex would be cool to have access to great sounding amp Sims without annoying my neighbors.
    Keep up the good work!

A has a bit smoother top end, less bite and attack especially on those mute scrapes, and a slightly inflated low end/low mid compared to B, and B was a bit more gritty and spikey, as well as more open, in the upper mids, but I only noticed with earbud headphones. I couldn't tell with my computer speakers because it's so subtle, nor could I tell which was which until after the reveal. I won't spoil it.

Very close sounding. There was one clip that Amp B sounded a little warmer,/fuller so I guessed that was the analog amp. There were other clips that Amp B sounded a little brighter/clearer, so I guessed that was the ToneX. So, now it looks like a little warmer/fuller and a little brighter/clearer were the characteristics of the analog amp. I'll have to remember that for future Blind Test guessing. Thanks

I jut recently purchased an ibanez gio mu first electric guitar without knowing the effects of anything else. But now as I dig and dig deeper on the amp simulator, it seems that catches my attention. You don’t have to buy big amplifier and different kinds of pedal and one is already plenty just as how you. demonstrated sir. How cool is that! Hope to catch up with you and the other guitar players in the world. 31 years old and just uncapable of doing what you are doing guys. Great compare, even with headphones I could not tell the diff. I'd love to win a license and use Tonex to record guitar for my next album (recorded in the basement!). Helix Native and Neural DSP would go on the back burner...

I would take A because the sound is more present, but this can also be due to a little more volume. Otherwise I would take the Tonex because of the price and the only marginally different sound.

Best Orange juice ever, tastes soo good! :D I'm writing my first rock album in Italian, with influences from bands like Verdena and Afterhours, I would like to use some of these tones 🤘🎸🤯

I would definitely love to win a ToneX license as I recently moved and had to drastically downsize my amp collection. ToneX would really help me to get back some of the tones I had to give up since my new space is way too small for lots of amps.
BTW... Love these comparison vids (keep them coming!) and I actually guessed correctly. The low end in the chugs of the ToneX tones is slightly more compressed. Overall though in the mix it was pretty difficult to hear the difference.

You always do a great job on your videos. I thought that both the Tonex and the amp sounds great. I would use the Tonex to record some new music for sure. Hope I can get one of those licenses. Either way, thanks for the opportunity.

With the OR30 out now and tempting me daily, I’ve been debating the next step for my home studio. I don’t think the amp + cab are quite in the cards yet, so I would love a MAX license to start recording! Great tone in the video too, I totally picked A as the amp and was pleasantly surprised to be wrong!

man that comparison really got me. A from my speakers had a little more top end but just slightly more so than B I was definitely wrong about which one was tone x and that is pretty awesome.

My guess -> B sounds more open to me and I'd say is the real amp, but honestly, both sound fantastic and non-digital. EDIT: it seems I guessed right, but the difference is really small

Preferred the sound of A, but B sounded great as well. Hard to explain why, but ToneX has consistently done this.. when it's different (or inaccurate) it's in a way that is pleasing to the ears in terms of the sonic characteristics and EQ profile. It's subtle differences.. I just find it odd that when there is a blind test.. I usually prefer the ToneX. Nice that it is so cheap and can sound so good.. it's not perfect but the basic tones are very nice.

I really need that ToneX licence so I can finish some of the songs that I've been working on for the last 25 years 🙁
Quality tones would really help to motivate me again. 👍

i really thought tone "A" was the real amp bc it sounded better to me and it was Tonex! i definitely would like to win the Tonex licence because i want to jam and record with all the super expensive dream amp captures like the iic+. Tonex sounds like the real deal. cheers!

Another mind melter. I had no idea which was which. Thanks for doing this.
Please put me in for the Tonex license drawing. I'm aiming to get a similar sound in my home studio for some worship music. I currently use universal audio models and I like them but this video sounds better. However, I have a sense you could get a bombastic sound playing out of a sparkomatic stereo.

I couldn't tell on phone audio but B was better on headphones. That said, A was clear in the mix. Might be a cool idea to use the real amp and the tonex with a 75/25 split for extra clarity in a mix
