Cailley Robinson singing Torelli's Tu Lo Sai for Spotlight On Youth. This is her first big solo performance. Her accompanist is her voice coach, the amazing Roberta Swedien.
It's a shame this doesn't have more views. I say that mostly because wow! This is such an honest, beautiful rendition of this song. Most versions on RUclips are sopranos with extremely light voices, which isn't a bad thing. It's just nice to hear a rendition with a dark, low-voiced mezzo/alto. So thank you for posting this. Best of luck to you.
Thanks for sharing! I'm doing this song for solo and ensemble and I've been looking for a version in the key of c. Your Italian is excellent and you have such a beautiful, powerful voice.
I sang this beautiful song for my pre-screen audition videos to some music schools. The melody has grown on me exponentially. I actually have it on my channel -- my version is in E Major, however!
I love this variation where the second go around changes.. I use to have this score in saprano in high school but I forgot which variation this was.. can anyone tell me.. this was beautiful!
As a characteristic of the da capo aria form (ABA') frequently used by composers of the baroque style period, the return of the 'A' section is ornamented by the singer (meaning the melody is slightly altered, or made more complex typically with added notes, suspensions, etc.). So the variations to the original melody in the return of the first section were formed by the singer, her teacher, vocal coach, or some combination-- it is not present in the music/score.
great job!!! but im only 11 and this is my fav song i have sang i jus wanna say it would have been ×10 if u moved a little bit more u have a wonderful voice

I feel so honored to have met cailley in person. There are not enough words for how gorgeous her voice is and how beautiful the song. Wow!

Timbrica eccellente, ma dizione e pronuncia carente. Sarebbe bello vederla collaborare con i conservatori italiani.
