Wow, Great video explaining so much in very good detail. Also, and I say this completely comfortable in my Heterosexuality, you have a very nice and relaxing voice. It actually helped take the edge off of my overall reaction to BFA's gearing process. Which is Blizzard seems desperate to make subscribers playtime constant in order to make the "Shareholders" happy. Now that they are down to 1.7 million subscribers or so. I can't help but find this process a bit Overwhelming. I just recently returned to WoW after a 6 year absence to play WoW Classic. I have to say I miss the Vanilla thru Cataclysm method of acquiring BiS gear. Which was Normal and Heroic Dungeons and Raids... simple. I know you could buy crafted gear off the AH, as well as some rep gear back then too. But PvP Gear was, and I know this sounds crazy, for PvP!!! If you showed up to a Heroic ICC raid in full Wrathful PvP gear you were getting kicked. I have no idea why they got rid of Resilience, which was the Bread and Butter stat of PvP. What is even the point of pvp gear now? I just recently hit 120 after using the 110 level boost token and so far I'm not crazy about the Dungeon loot system. Which is why I looked up your guide in the first place. But man oh man, it seems like you have 10 million things to do all week long to get geared in BFA. It truly is the "Time Sink" Expansion. I want to try and get back to some top end content (I was in a Hard Core Raiding Guild back in the day) and see how that goes. Nothing awe inspiring right away, just some normal Raids. But I can see the hand writing on the wall. I may decide to give up WoW again for another 6 years. Anyway, still a great and very informative vid. Thx

I'm just coming back to WoW for BFA, and I'm purposely avoiding grinding on world quests and such. I joined a casual/friendly guild and just want to coast on the game at a leisurely pace, and it's been pretty enjoyable! I'm nowhere near the best dps in my group with my paltry 335 item level, but it's nice to feel like there are upgrades everywhere and each week feels new and exciting. I really don't want to be that person where I have everything and only raid for a chance at one item, and am miserable the rest of the time. I want to grow with the content. Not do it all at first and then burn out.
I like raiding heroic / maybe 1 or 2 boss mythics per raid and m+ but yeah i dont grind the shit out of content i play this xpac casually hardcore and i am having fun to :)
I'm just now getting my first 120 and trying to do some rep grinds. Thank you for this video because I had no idea where to start to gear up some so I can survive some of fights. Thank you!

Long time fan of your channel..... I stopped raiding back in Warlords and ever since I play casually. I just dinged 120 yesterday, played very slowly without rushing from 110. Always played Demo Lock as main since Vanilla days and eventually BM Hunter as alt... this time I started with Hunter and pretty happy about it. Your video as perfect as to what to look around now at 120. At least I know what to prioritize now. By all means I not in the ilvl rush.... more into slowly enjoying the zones, doing the quests, etc.
You might have it set to 1% volume, but I’d recognize the Cowboy Bebop OST if it were being broadcast via echolocation. Waltz for Zizi has earned you a sub

If your faction has WF., just spam a couple warfronts and get that 370+ a few 340s, then start doing WQ. You will be actually getting something useful out of WQ for once.

How to gear alt? 1. Profession 355 item could be made easily while questing and collecting mats 2. Darkmoon Trinket(especially for DPS(Fathoms)) 355 3. 1st Warfront 370 4. If WF it’s controlled by your faction you get 370, if not, spam it for gear 5. Once you are ~340+ go for M+ BTW don’t bother with rdf nm/hc, simply not worth the time If you have friends willing to boost you, clear every mythic dungeon

Thank you for this. There needs to be more noob friendly videos out there. I honestly dont know what is what for some stuff since they change so much over time. Like do you still need to do a bunch of shit to unlock world quests? I know they have made changes to things like flying before WOD (certain prerequisites) and im not talking about during WOD itself. I also just hit the 70s and went to Dalaran and I saw certain armor for sale which is a MASSIVE upgrade from what I have, then upgrades of that armor which take a certain token that I can't find ANYTHING about how to even check if you have any. I attempted to purchase one and it asked something on the lines of "are you sure" so it made it seem like I already had some. I've been doing dungeons which include cataclysm so I might, idk. Long story short, there isn't enough info out there for noobs, and there isn't anywhere near enough info in the game showing us how to use certain mechanics. It makes the game seem very intimidating and honestly makes me not want to play.

A fresh 120 can spam warfronts for very easy 340 pieces and one 370. You get one per warfront and they take 15-25 minutes to finish. Easier to get than dungeons which drop 5 pieces for 5 players (not alway garanteed you get something but you might also get more, avg should be 1 piece per dungeon though) and they take longer, need to go through groups on lfg and are just harder in general compared to warfront which are pretty faceroll-y
I wanna hear your thoughts about the expansion now that the raid has released. If reps would be account wide or some kind of token like in mop would be great. But at this point leveling a alt is pointless since everything is behind a rep gate. Also the warfront fiasco is a total shitfest right now.

so i mostly did bgs and dungeons towards the end of my leveling, so i need to get go back and do the storylines in kul tiras and get friendly with all factions now before world quests?
blizzard fked up once again, i dont have a problem handing out some low ilvl blue gear 310-325 stuff but right now majority of the current content is becoming obsolete. Cleared normal Uldir and half way through Heroic, i dont think i will be clearing normal on next reset and also wont be doing mythic + much either just gonna aim for +10 for weekly.
I don't get why we have to put normal resources to progress the warfront. Just make drops from mobs in arathi, that you need to collect and turn in. For me it's not worth to put my resources into it. It doesn't give that much of a reward.

be advised that Warfronts now have an ilevel requirement now so you can’t just do them as soon as you hit 120.

Sad thing is you can completely afk warfronts and go do something else in real life and not get kicked out from auto afk.
