I wanted to add that when people go through trauma, they are mentally stuck at the developmental age of when the trauma took place. That could be another reason why Georgia sometimes dressed similarly to the teenagers as you put it.
tbh I really liked outfits in Ginny and Georgia, so i was looking for an outfit video about it, then i saw this one and i watched it... i didn't realize that these outfits were that much meaningful...impressive

I noticed how after 1. joe didn’t recognize her 2.Georgia didn’t get the job right off 3.her card was declined twice 4.realizing Austin has a bully that she unzipped that pink dress and put on a sweater she felt defeated a little but then quickly put the black dress on to go to the school board meeting 😂 when Ginny went back to ep1 outfit I was like ya she’s done with everything. I loved all of Georgias changes
