- The Metropolitan Police has criticised the police watchdog after an officer who tasered a ten-year-old girl in 2021 was cleared of misconduct following a near three-year disciplinary wrangle.
A misconduct panel found on Thursday that PC Jonathan Broadhead’s decision to use the weapon on the girl twice in 2021 was “necessary, reasonable and proportionate”.
The officer deployed the taser twice within seconds of arriving at a flat in southwest London where the girl had threatened her mother with garden shears and hit her with a hammer.

As hard as it is to watch, for once the police acted decisively and quickly. They controlled the situation and had it wrapped up pretty quickly. No long drawn out stand off. But so sad to see this behaviour from a child.

We know there is recent event of children luring a victim to a park in the daytime.
CPV is recognised in England but unfortunately not all through the UK. Such a difficult subject- imagine, for example, one having a fit child, physically able ( eg dance lessons) child who will seek you out and hold potentially lethal weapons to you, or have ones’sneck whilst in bed… who believes you?…stigma.. and not knowing what to do for the best. They blame you.

Why does that matter to you?....interesting that you ask that question first rather than 'what was the the threat, harm or risk posed'. I think this shows the narrative that you choose to pursue rather than pursuing the facts or any true understanding of the situation or case.

What's happening here is something called proper policing.
Someone doesn't want to wrestle a knife or pair of scissors out of their daughter's hand so they called someone else to educate the child on consequences. Gang gang.
