- Introducing the TASER 10. With enhanced weather resistance to IP67, 10 probes and a 45-foot maximum range, the TASER 10 is Axon's most accurate and effective less-lethal weapon ever.
Welcome to a new era in less-lethal technology.

Brun no way XD
Smart cus now we can make multiple connections and recover from misses
So now all the taser 7s we bought last year are old news. At least the ones we haven't sent in for RMA. Awesome. I guess you can't make money without making last years' model obsolete.
They should at least provide a trade in program for the Taser 10, I heard it is going to be more expensive than the Taser 7.
But since the Taser 10 is classified as a firearm by the ATF, it can be confusing in the use of force policy because a firearm is seen as lethal force.
@@David-fp7yc where did you learn that the 10 is considered a firearm?
@@whoa6375 It is a firearm, it says so in one of their training update videos.
@@David-fp7yc got a link to that? I hope you mean "non lethal firearm" in regards to it being a firearm.
@@David-fp7yc "Introducing the TASER 10. With enhanced weather resistance to IP67, 10 probes and a 45-foot maximum range, the TASER 10 is Axon's most accurate and effective less-lethal weapon ever."
thats the description for the video above.
"less-lethal" is used to describe it here, id like to understand if you mean firearm as in needs a license to carry or firearm as in less lethal firearm. advantage to tasers is although theyre expensive they dont require a license.
Fantastic bit of kit! Kudos to the media team for such an impressive video!!
Video is impressive but the taser looks the same as the original.
@@Recon6 it only looks the same if you're blind. it has 10 probes and the cartridge is huge. the light is on the top instead of the bottom. the safety looks smaller, trigger is skeletonized.
Well done!!!! Wow!!! You renewed my confidence in Tasers!!!!!
this doesnt solve a single issue about tasers. this is actually worse. its like making a pistol that required you to pull the trigger 5 times for 1 shot. its more shit you have to do, in a stressful situation. not a good idea. it wont be any more powerful than the ones now, so itll still be like 30 percent effective.
@@mini_mozzerit’ll be easily more effective. Getting two off in less than one second is not hard at all. I’ve seen people empty a revolver in about a second. If they miss one probe, they have 8 more chances to hit in that one or two seconds. Also the fact it works at almost double the distance means you can use it earlier if they are coming at you or longer if they’re running away. Sorry you don’t understand probability
Is there a full auto mode, or a send all button lol?
Bad ass video. I was hit with the x-7 for work. Now I'm curious about this one.
Every department in this country will or should be required to have this by next year. That is amazing.
You gonna pay for it?
Lol you have no idea how much they charge for that crap. It's insane.
@@AtomicShadow64 right! At our department, we have the taser7 with the arc switch and it works so well. But I can see this saving so many lives from people going thru so much. And to answer the other guy, human lives are worth more than money and a joke.
@@knockitdown8798 Don't get me wrong. I like them and it's a good tool. We have the 7s and will be buying the 10s. They just have a monopoly on the market. Don't even get me started oth the body cam market they also have cornered!
3 million dollars per department
What screw did you use? My drill does not work as efficiently as I watched you. -Ashley
Can you still drive stun with it?
i want two of them!
한국 국제치안산업대전에서 실제로 봤는데, axon 기술력은 대단한거같긴함..
Wait so you have to shoot twice to get the connection?
😍

10 shots!

Does the first probe deliver a shock? A subject that is high or very combative may remove the probe before the second probe connects and a shock is delivered.
U need 2 probes minimum
No. It sends current after the 2nd one. Cops will have to be retrained to fire it a minimum of 2 times for it to work.
That’s what I was thinking. Additionally, if two officers were to fire at the same time, would there be a risk of over/under charge or something along those lines?
@@ethanpollock2096 no
My thought process is that if you are going lethal and less lethal to someone say holding a knife wanting to kill them self. Now i have to pop them with the first dart hope it doesn’t piss them off before I get a second dart in them? All because people are not proficient enough to hit someone with two shots with a taser 7? I also heard this was designed due to people deploying both cartridges when trying to reenergize? This will just stick a third probe in the subject, or your foot if you are at circle of safety. 🤦♂️
❤
So dumb question im sorry in advance lol - if someone is attacking you, how are you supposed to shoot them and run away if the charges(?) are still connected to the gun? Drop the gun and run, stay there and keep shocking them until cops come?
You dont, this isnt for civilian use really its for law enforcement.
I can buy 4x Gen3 Glocks off gunbroker for what a Taser 7 costs. I live in California so that’s including transfer, dros, and background check. Can’t wait to see what the Taser 10 costs.
Gonna take 5 months to take possession of them all though 😂
You can’t compare civilian market prices with government prices. Makes no sense.
10 probes, the shock must be 10 times as painful than the previous tasers.
You clearly don't know how tasers work
Is this legal to carry around California on the open streets for self defense? does it have to be concealed or not concealed?
no this TASER, a police and military product. search up 'Axon Pulse'. thats a civilian model.
Just move to a safer country, Ukraine or Afghanistan maybe
It’s legal. It’s not a firearm.
It's California; self defense is illegal
@@phxrsxthe taser 10 is a firearm under the GCA of 1968. The original taser models used gunpowder and were classified as firearms. Taser switched to compressed air for the models until now. In order to get that many darts in there it seems they switched to another explosive propellant which now makes them firearms again. Axon said this themselves in an SEC filling. It also is probably gonna be more of a pain in the ass for civilians to get than a normal handgun because I don’t think it has rifling which would make it an AOW so you would have to do NFA paperwork.
If you want to visit Barcelona, you need one
So you still have to fire two prongs.
Какая цена?
Might as well shock them with an entire nuclear powerplant worth of energy
Can be used for home defense 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Lo nesesito
Im always using this on my teammates on ready or not
Yeah.
We are staying with the X26. There's enough bulk already.
Within another year or two the x26p will not be supported by axon....the x26 is currently not supported. Got to love axons plan lol
Meanwhile my department that JUST GOT the Taser 7
Same here in france lol
Like any technology.
we were just issued our Taser 7 units last year lol
Every one should have a tazer
Won't be available to the public, company confirmed
Electricity conducts a whole lot more in muscle tissue than in fatty tissue. The taser will eat a bodybuilder's butt up. I have seen it.
In South Africa, people are having real guns, all day long. I don't know if having this is a good idea.
Yet very dangerous
HALT! I AM THE NEW SPIDER MAN
10 probes is a huge thing. Absolutely amazing for our officers.
last dude looked just like walter white
How much?
I read on Yahoo news $2,000.
@@David-fp7yc wow that is a lot... thank you for the info.
@@David-fp7yc 2000 wouldn't be a lot, main problem is it won't be available to the public.
2K is good. We’re they’re messing up is it won’t be available to civilians ONLY law enforcement which is absurd and if made available to public you will require a firearms license. 😊
Tasers have a full mag now. Hahaha
Taser 10 very very cool and I would love to carry at work but I can already see the legal battles for excessive force. 10 opportunities to tase? Wow!! In our department after the second shock is considered excessive per our policy. Sad but true.
Must be working in Chicago
@@brinsamer7307 nope, Miami, Florida.
Wow that sucks
Eah, electric laser-bolt beam-pulse modulators will make these obsolete in a few years, and be like $20k a piece WITH a $2000 monthly "support subscription."
Why can't you guys make it wireless?
are you serious? do you know what a taser is? what it does?
@@mini_mozzer YOU WANNA FIGHT?!! LETS GO!
I think the future will be rifled electric barbs with its own internal electricity.
@@phxrsxthey tried that, look up taser XREP
Wow it only took 15 years for America to catch up to Russian taser technology 10 shots 50 feet range is old news
Tasers have almost no effect on those who are drunk, high, mentally unstable, or wearing thick clothing.
We will see I guess
@@IamJigle "We will see?" I'm not proposing something, or just guessing. I'm stating what is factually true.
@@thatguyrich9822 you're implying that this is the same as the Taser 10 of which we haven't got any statistics yet which would make your statement based on opinion and assumption.
@@IamJigle The taser 10, different from its previous variants, doesn't employ any new technologies. It still uses barbed probes to fire into the target, then delivers a voltage which disrupts the target's central nervous system. The only thing changed is the manner in which the probes are deployed. There haven't been any changes in how to voltage affects the central nervous system. And this gets to the heart of the matter. The delivered voltage rarely affects the central nervous system of those who are drunk, high, or mentally unstable, because their pain receptors tend to be "blocked" by alcohol, drugs, or instability. With regard to thick clothing, each new variant of tasers make promises on defeating thick clothing... but that's all I've seen... lots of promises, and short on results.
Now, if you have some new news on how a taser will supposedly overcome the problem of delivering voltage to a central nervous system that is blocked, then please, enlighten the rest of us. Until then, I'll double-down on my original statement in my OP "Tasers have almost no effect on those who are drunk, high, mentally unstable, or wearing thick clothing."
Would be great if they cast realistic suspects in these videos. How often are cops assaulted by angry old white guys?
So…I’d buy that for a dollar.
I like how yall brought in some 3rd world dictatorship country cop for the ad.
Third world dictatorships still use the tried and proven "lead more than lethal" device
Nice job Taser......on making video that shows scenarios that are less than realistic. Hitting a subject armed with a blunt weapon at 25 to 30 feet when he is running...with three darts...not likely. Let me guess....you will say that he was far enough away that the officer could have transitioned to a firearm if the taser hits failed. Problem is that transition will have to occur while the suspect is bashing the officers brains in with his metal club. Tasers are good tools, but they are far from perfect and rarely work as depicted in static videos....great video though!!
You only have to hit two darts. Not hard when you have 10.
@@baddriversofthenorcalarea500 Getting two probe strikes on a moving target is harder than you think, and getting two probe strikes with a good connection is even harder. My point was that the video is a little silly. If I got a guy charging at me with a metal pipe, it's not the taser that's coming out of its holster it's going to be my duty weapon.
@@CLCox-ur9ux Also important to remember that these have a 45 foot range.
@@baddriversofthenorcalarea500 Have you ever bothered to watch cop bodycam vids? Tasers have proven themselves over and over and over again to be unreliable. Just scour the internet and you will find many vids. But hopefully this model with be a bigger advancement.
@@kadenchiu009 I have probably seen 90% of critical incidents published on RUclips. I am aware they do not always work. You clearly did not read my comment. If you do not have a taser on you, it has a 0% chance of working. At least if you have it the chance it works is greater than 0%.
I'm sure you're not supposed to tase someone in the rain.
Damn, don’t let the criminals find out this one trick!
Um..I don’t think rain has any effect to the taser it doesn’t make it more lethal. Or less lethal. The probes connect to the body. Delivering controlled bursts of energy. It’s not going to fry them.
This honestly is a useless weapon especially since its actually killed much more people under excited delirium scenarios. Police should due away from this device all together.
Does it have to be wet to work?
No. It looks like it could be water resistant though.
LOL good one.
or just splatter the threat with a 12 gauge...hence no more threat..forget the drama....
