Smol Theory: Deb isn't actually dead, she's just frozen in those crystals and potentially Scott was once frozen in them too and was somehow unfrozen recently, hence why he thought Syntec was still intact. So maybe there's a way to 'unfreeze' Deb.
That would make sense cuz maybe the freezing would stop the from aging and it kind of blanks their memories of what happened before. Then everything reset for the same things to happen again the next day

The biggest thing driving me insane about this is Gary said she’s in Assisted Living. That could mean anything, physical or psychological, but would she be able to get up or plan to infiltrate the cleaning crew to grab it?
Theory: The Absolate is what killed Deb because we don’t know why it’s so dangerous as many claim possibly what ever is in the Absolate is the stuff that crystalized Deb and every thing in her apartment

I thought this too, this made me think that it could have been Chloe that stole it if she is a genuine suspect or even Gary and him asking for the absalate was just a cover up or something idk but it is interesting to think about

“Splintering” also has been used as a term in the past used to describe what happens to a person when they have DID. If she has disabilities it could be mental “Splintering” to protect her self from a traumatic experience. Just a theory

Maybe when a person splinters a piece of them like astral projects into the future making that time loop and in some cases that piece comes back to the original body and they could retain that info and maybe if Scott Splintered then he learned who the 863 gang was and that all leads to Deb getting all the info on the gang before they learned about Syntec. Theory: What if, whatever was inside the absalate, was what was used to murder Deb? You were told before how dangerous the absalate is, so maybe the murderer somehow used it on Deb to completely freeze/crystalise her and everything around her. This could have happened multiple ways. Maybe the murderer forced Deb to wear the absalate which then somehow "activated" it and froze everything, or he threw it on the ground like a grenade and it exploded? Knowing the absalate, there could be hundreds of ways it could have murdered Deb if it was used. Also, if Deb was the one who stole the Absalate, maybe it wasn't a murder. She could have been investigating it and it somehow "went off" so to speak.
It said in the autopsy that her hair was brown, even if she dyed it, she wouldn't have been able to dye her hair, steal the absalte, and experiment on it all on the same day before meeting her demise. Even if Deb was investigating and it "went off" I think that she would have been in her chair or at her desk, not standing up facing the door. She also probably wouldn't have had time to hold her hands up to block it unless it was thrown or activated by someone else. However, the theory about the liquid inside is quite plausible. She might not have been sitting down, perhaps she had just gotten back with the absalate when it went off, or she was, for some reason, standing up and investigating it when it went off. It's not perfect, but theories never are. I think the most likely outcome is that someone attacked her with it, but if Deb was the one who stole it, how could someone else have used it on her?
@@Dmoore14 That is also a possible theory, but remember Deb dyed her hair blonde, and we still haven't heard from Chloe directly yet. It is possible Chloe stole it and used it to attack Deb, but after so many years of hiding, why would she risk going back to an old Syntec location, especially if she was experimented upon there. The other experiment survivor could barely stand being in the building, and the cleaner who stole the absalate had calm body language, which Chloe wouldn't have been able to put up given what she went through with Syntec.
Personally, I enjoyed the videos without commentary in between much more, that way I don't get drawn out of the current situation and have to connect things myself. Just some friendly feedback from my side :)
Same but since people also like it and sometimes it is helpfull. Maybe they should test a middle ground. With not every video like that but one a week or so. It personally really draws me out of the flow and makes me feel "stupid" since apperently everything needs to be repeated, I think there could be a more organic way to do that, if they want to. Since this is a style choice it is obviously the teams decision.

I realize you don’t want newer viewers to be confused, but constantly cutting away to recap kills the pacing a bit. I would suggest finding a more organic way to bring new viewers up to speed. Be careful when dealing with John Doe, only Sam and Woods should interact with him if it is at a location he chooses. If he has been turned, there is no telling if John Doe will try and infect you guys, and Woods and Sam are the only ones (who are there) who are immune to it.
Theory: What if Chloe is the girl on the tape they found in the original mountaineer. This would make sense because she was violently screaming in the tape. Also Deb was in the background which makes sense because she was the main one doing tests on Chloe.
I have a theory that the murder weapon utilized photons aka light. The shadows on the wall are reminiscent of the aftermath of a nuclear bomb, but the Geiger counter didn't detect any radiation so it couldn't have been anything nuclear. Nothing was burned either, so it couldn't have been anything with extreme heat. The serum, coffee, and Deb herself were all crystalized, but not frozen by extreme cold. So the only possible weapon I can think of, would have to be something involving photons.
Theory: what if gary reynolds hired the person to steal the absalate, then is trying to blackmail you for something he knows you don't have so that you don't continue to figure out whats going on, Gary definitely has the resources to be able to hire someone to infiltrate the cleaning team to be able to have stolen the absalate
I really think John Doe should be a suspect cuz of the threatening email he sent Deb right before she died. He must have known where she was hiding if he was "helping" her contact and get evidence to you.
Theory: John Doe has been working with Gary Renolds, they both work with the government, and they both have contact with Deb. Not so sure about motive, but everyone has their own battles to fight. Stay safe guys.

i still don't believe Chloe killed Deb though. Gary's evidence doesn't line up, he said she could barely do basic tasks, but thinks she's the one that killed Deb.
I am now leaning more towards the time bomb in her apartment since she was standing up and the image makes it seem like she has no damage. She isn't really dead, just time has stopped moving for her. It explains the shadows and how the liquid looks frozen as well.
Interesting theory... unfortunately, there's 1 problem. For an Autopsy, there has to be remains of some sort. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to 1: Identify the victim and 2: pronounce the person dead. It would be a missing person case in that scenario

I researched a little about "crystalization" and here is what I found. Apparently, crystalization can happen with chemical changes within the body the can appear as part of the ageing process. It can make it more likely for calcium crystals to form. There are conditions that can increase to amount of calcium in someone's body. One of the conditions is hyperparathyroidism. Another possible way Deb could have been crystalized is by something she was infected by. I didn't find anything about this but I feel like it could have been something she had in her body from Syntec.
I think Deb was possibly "killed" by some other Syntec Experiment. For Example, We have heard of Gaius yet know nothing about it, so it could possibly be something like freezing time, and deb isn't actually dead but is infact frozen in time which would explain why she "died" standing up.

Theory: It's possible that Chloe was the one the have stolen the Absalate. We know that the Absalate is highly dangerous meaning whatever substance was in that absalate could've been used (by Chloe) to crystalize Deb and caused her to die.
Small theory: I think that the John doe youve been talking to is actually Chloe and that she's saying she's an undercover officer for lapd to cover up that she's actually undercover for syntec trying to get evidence from you guys to use against deb. I'm a long time fan I have watch ever single episode of 863 I was dragged in and believed the magic from the beginning and have tried to never look behind the curtain but the last 2 to 3 episodes have been lots of nothing leading to 30 seconds of not much the story has lost is entisapation its action and its nail biting edge of the seat unravelling. I feel like I'm watching a scooby doo mystery lately like we are looking for supernatural or paranormal events only to find out its all smoke and mirrors the direction of the story over last few viewings has been underwhelming and frankly alot of small talk that doesn't serve alot of oerpose where has the passion and action and suspense gone from previerous series of 863 I beelive the extra episodes a week have spread out the story too thinly. I would rather wait a whole week to have my socks blown off and my jaw hit the floor than have three a week of well there was something there and shrug it off and move on I would much rather the butter of my toast to be spread to the edges and coat every bite the in sections where sometimes it was spread too thin I hope that makes sense I am not I repeat not saying that this series and its cast arnt amazing and have enthralled so many of us and have created a masterpiece but I just think maybe the format has been changed and stretched a little thin I continue to watch as a huge fan but I feel I wouldn't be a true fan if I wasn't honest about my experience thus far I hope whole heartedly the team understand this comment and appreciate my input and thoughts as I love what has been created and only wish to see it flourish and grow as it has in the past would love to know all 4 subjects opinions on my comment be interesting to read how constructive criticism and views are met as I sign off I continue to wait with baited breath to see to what and where the story leads us love you all . ..remember to breath ...

I do too also feel this way on some episodes but it’s getting better from last season I really like how it’s more vlogging more lab mystery not a whole tv setup and stuff but I like to stay positive and watch because one way or another it’s a great story and can’t wait to see what they improve on!

IMPORTANT! Make sure that you don't focus all of your effort on Chloe just because Gary mentioned her. If Gary was confident that he had nothing to do with Deb's murder, he wouldn't have rolled over and made a deal so easily. No one who is innocent would make a deal so easily to keep themselves safe. Also, it makes sense that Gary would throw Chloe under the bus since she would definitely have a strong motive. That is something that a guilty person would do, give you someone else that makes sense to protect themselves.
Gary could be the one who murdered deb, and hes trying to lead you in the wrong direction so you dont think it was him. Or he could be protecting somone. PLEASE be careful he could be tricking you.

Theory: what if “splintering” is actually what killed Deb? Those microscopic photos looked like actual splinters, and if it was happening to Chloe (but on a smaller scale) she might have motive to put Deb in the same misery that she put her through in the past. If this is true and splintering is actually crystallization, then Chloe might be our prime suspect here.
I have a theory so prepare yourself I think the serum has freezing properties and she was in close contact with the serum. She might have frozen from the serum and her lungs froze so no air could not go in to her lungs. The crystallized blood could have made her stand up straight.

Wait… I have a random theory. What if Chloe is Scott’s daughter? What if the first mountaineer is Scott’s as well. There were children’s toys in the original. It could be the same mountaineer but the original one has changed so much that it isn’t disappearing in a “time loop”. That would explain why it has the same vin and parked in the exact same spot.

My theory, Deb said it was possible Chloe was splintering. “Scott” said that she couldn’t do a lot of stuff on her own. What if Deb was splintered but more severe. Here's something to think about didn't an email on debs computer have john doe's old email in it threatening her. If so I would be very cautious with John Doe
Theory- So I did some research on crystallization. And what I discovered is that besides cooling a liquid, it can also occur through a Supersaturated Solution. This is basically when the solvent (the liquid) is at max capacity filled with the solute. Then when the Acidity ( or temp) changes, the max capacity of the liquid changes, causing the solute ( or crystals) to fall out. This could be what caused the crystallization!! The solvent is the blood, coffee, serum, and the solute is whatever chemical they were exposed to, then the acidity changed, causing them to crystallize! I hope this was helpful :)
We have to remember that Scott mentioned Chloe being very young... she probably didn't understand what she was signing for. Then in later years tried to sue Deb but couldn't... someone who stared very young as a lab rat wouldn't really develop well in many areas. Not sure if I made sense 😅 lol
just a suggestion but if you want to double check if the person who stole the absolate is deb then try and find out the height of the thief and compare it to debs height of 5'7. Guys, please do not villainize DID or any personality disorder. The “splintering”, and the violence that was in the lab report makes it seem like thats where you’re going in the story. Please don’t use any mental disorders unless you are very confident you can give them accurate representation. Don’t make it seem like people with these disorders are violent. There’s a lot of stigma around personality disorders and I hate to see any media feed into it.

@@bigfrankfraser1391 as a sci fi fan myself I am very aware of a lot of negative tropes of people with personality disorders in sci fi media. A lot of times it’s used for villains or “crazy”/ violent people to create drama or a more sci fi feel. This is a harmful trope of personality disorders that is not accurate and creates a negative stigma around them and spread misinformation. It’s very possible they never thought of going towards a personality disorder at all, and are doing something with timelines and universes like they’ve hinted at, I’d prefer it that way. I wanted to put this out there in case they were thinking about it or someone was theorizing about it, to avoid the spread of misinformation.
QOTD/Theory: So here's what I think happened. The 2 men in the video was Scott & Gary. (I don't believe it's a zender dude). What if Scott helped Chloe escape and Gary got pissed off. The last time John Doe and the team had an encounter, which is when he went into hiding, the team found snacks in his car. Maybe one of the snacks was a Mars bar? I don’t remember but if so that could mean that Scott (who’s presumably in a time loop) became John Doe after retiring from Syntec.

Theory: So Synetec is still a working company, except it’s far underground, very skeleton staff etc. And what you’re finding, experiencing is what they want you to find/experience. Splintering sounds like a time shift/ timeline milestone that Syntec has discovered, in which case they will be trying to rewrite history as you’re living in it. So they came from the past, hidden in the present day (the “future” to them) and realised they’re in trouble so they’re exploiting that splinter in time to leave dead ends/false leads for you to discover? P.S. I hurt my head trying to make a theory work.

The word Splintering could mean something like the personality splintering off or breaking off and creating its own persona from which the original consciousness AKA Chloe could be seeing the falsely created memories of her alter ego or split personality which was created when she was injected with the serum all those years ago and that could be what those "odd hallucinations could be.
With all the new information on the painful tests on patients, it feels like Chloe, although a suspect for murder, also could have reason behind her words. I don't know who to believe, but be careful guys! ;)

Theory Time: Okay, I know this might be a long stretch for what if Deb isn't dead.. I know it might be a long stretch since we have the proof right in front of us 5 feeling the deb is it really dead. What if Gary, or whatever his name is I forgot, captured Deb and pronounced Deb dead.
2 Theories: 1. Splintering could have something to do with jumping into timelines. Thus why she was seeing and hallucinating about things she's never seen. 2. Blood cannot crystalize because it is not a pure substance. However, studies have shown blood CAN be crystalized OUTSIDE of the body. So maybe Syntec found a way to mimic, intensify, and speed up the crystallization process so that it could crystallize someone in place, with their blood still in their body. Any other way would need extreme pressure, cold and/or heat.
Theory: what if it wasn't deb that was murdered? I know, it's a stretch but I don't think the person that was murdered was deb. If Chloe is disabled more mentally rather than physically, then it could've been her. She might have gone in looking for something to help her or for reasons to sue deb again before who ever killed her came in, mistaking her for deb.

I love this series I have watched every single episode from the start but I have a small complaint. I don't like the new style of the videos ( by that I mean when they cut to mat for him to explain something , remind something or make jokes etc ... ) . I feel like it kind of kills the rhythm of the video but this is just my opinion and others may disagree
I agree especially with reading the comments like make that a playlist for that because it cuts the time for how long the episode is going to be if that makes any sense.
I have a theory about what could’ve cause the crystallization on Deb. “The Absolate” I believe she was the one that stole in costume since she knew Garry wanted it. What if she figured out how to open it and that happened. Insane theory, but just wanted to get that on the board because you never know. Anything is possible.
Theory: I did a bit a research and according to google, blood freezes at -272.29 degrees C. Perhaps, she was injected with some sort of serum that caused all her insides to stiffen and freeze up. Or maybe she was doomed from the start(like she had that problem from the beginning), she knew and it was only a matter of time before her life came to the end.
There’s an employee file in the filing cabinet that has Chloe’s name on it. So that means both Chloe and Ben were the only two people we know of so far that were both an employee and an experiment.
I have a very interesting theory. So in history class today we were talking about the bombing in Hiroshima in WW2 and nuclear bombs and radiation. A kid in my class said that you could still see the “shadows” of the Japanese people vaporized by the bomb. What if Deb was murdered by a huge radiation attack. I realize it can’t be a bomb because everything else in the apartment is intact, but maybe the killer used a ton of radiation to vaporize the inside of the apartment. That would explain the shadows. Just a thought
Theory: What if her blood crystalizing is the cause of splintering maybe Chloe caused the same thing that Deb did to her and it might explain what happened to her.
Theory: The crystalized kind of reminds me of the chemical reaction crystallisation which creates salt crystals and blood has a concentration of salt. Deb might have been crystalized using this chemical reaction.
I immediately got the idea that CHLOE is the one in the burned photo with Wes, CHLOE is also the one who came in and stole the absilate. Now I’m even leaning towards her being the murderer behind Debs death. I’m unsure how at this point but it all makes some kind of sense.
theory: Deb was messing with a chemical that could have altered the serum and it reacted in the heat, causing it to explode. she could have had serum in her blood, in which it entered her body, causing her to crystallize in place. this could explain why she was standing in death and the crystallization.

Theory: What if, whatever was inside the absalate, was what was used to murder Deb? You were told before how dangerous the absalate is, so maybe the murderer somehow used it on Deb to completely freeze/crystalise her and everything around her.
This could have happened multiple ways. Maybe the murderer forced Deb to wear the absalate which then somehow "activated" it and froze everything, or he threw it on the ground like a grenade and it exploded? Knowing the absalate, there could be hundreds of ways it could have murdered Deb if it was used.
Also, if Deb was the one who stole the Absalate, maybe it wasn't a murder. She could have been investigating it and it somehow "went off" so to speak.
It said in the autopsy that her hair was brown, even if she dyed it, she wouldn't have been able to dye her hair, steal the absalte, and experiment on it all on the same day before meeting her demise. Even if Deb was investigating and it "went off" I think that she would have been in her chair or at her desk, not standing up facing the door. She also probably wouldn't have had time to hold her hands up to block it unless it was thrown or activated by someone else. However, the theory about the liquid inside is quite plausible. Good theory.

She might not have been sitting down, perhaps she had just gotten back with the absalate when it went off, or she was, for some reason, standing up and investigating it when it went off. It's not perfect, but theories never are. I think the most likely outcome is that someone attacked her with it, but if Deb was the one who stole it, how could someone else have used it on her?
@@Dmoore14 That is also a possible theory, but remember Deb dyed her hair blonde, and we still haven't heard from Chloe directly yet. It is possible Chloe stole it and used it to attack Deb, but after so many years of hiding, why would she risk going back to an old Syntec location, especially if she was experimented upon there. The other experiment survivor could barely stand being in the building, and the cleaner who stole the absalate had calm body language, which Chloe wouldn't have been able to put up given what she went through with Syntec.

Theory: What if Chloe is the girl on the tape they found in the original mountaineer. This would make sense because she was violently screaming in the tape. Also Deb was in the background which makes sense because she was the main one doing tests on Chloe.

I have a theory that the murder weapon utilized photons aka light. The shadows on the wall are reminiscent of the aftermath of a nuclear bomb, but the Geiger counter didn't detect any radiation so it couldn't have been anything nuclear. Nothing was burned either, so it couldn't have been anything with extreme heat. The serum, coffee, and Deb herself were all crystalized, but not frozen by extreme cold. So the only possible weapon I can think of, would have to be something involving photons.

Interesting theory... unfortunately, there's 1 problem. For an Autopsy, there has to be remains of some sort. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to 1: Identify the victim and 2: pronounce the person dead. It would be a missing person case in that scenario

I researched a little about "crystalization" and here is what I found. Apparently, crystalization can happen with chemical changes within the body the can appear as part of the ageing process. It can make it more likely for calcium crystals to form. There are conditions that can increase to amount of calcium in someone's body. One of the conditions is hyperparathyroidism.
Another possible way Deb could have been crystalized is by something she was infected by. I didn't find anything about this but I feel like it could have been something she had in her body from Syntec.
I think Deb was possibly "killed" by some other Syntec Experiment. For Example, We have heard of Gaius yet know nothing about it, so it could possibly be something like freezing time, and deb isn't actually dead but is infact frozen in time which would explain why she "died" standing up.

I'm a long time fan I have watch ever single episode of 863 I was dragged in and believed the magic from the beginning and have tried to never look behind the curtain but the last 2 to 3 episodes have been lots of nothing leading to 30 seconds of not much the story has lost is entisapation its action and its nail biting edge of the seat unravelling. I feel like I'm watching a scooby doo mystery lately like we are looking for supernatural or paranormal events only to find out its all smoke and mirrors the direction of the story over last few viewings has been underwhelming and frankly alot of small talk that doesn't serve alot of oerpose where has the passion and action and suspense gone from previerous series of 863 I beelive the extra episodes a week have spread out the story too thinly. I would rather wait a whole week to have my socks blown off and my jaw hit the floor than have three a week of well there was something there and shrug it off and move on I would much rather the butter of my toast to be spread to the edges and coat every bite the in sections where sometimes it was spread too thin I hope that makes sense I am not I repeat not saying that this series and its cast arnt amazing and have enthralled so many of us and have created a masterpiece but I just think maybe the format has been changed and stretched a little thin I continue to watch as a huge fan but I feel I wouldn't be a true fan if I wasn't honest about my experience thus far I hope whole heartedly the team understand this comment and appreciate my input and thoughts as I love what has been created and only wish to see it flourish and grow as it has in the past would love to know all 4 subjects opinions on my comment be interesting to read how constructive criticism and views are met as I sign off I continue to wait with baited breath to see to what and where the story leads us love you all .

Make sure that you don't focus all of your effort on Chloe just because Gary mentioned her. If Gary was confident that he had nothing to do with Deb's murder, he wouldn't have rolled over and made a deal so easily. No one who is innocent would make a deal so easily to keep themselves safe. Also, it makes sense that Gary would throw Chloe under the bus since she would definitely have a strong motive. That is something that a guilty person would do, give you someone else that makes sense to protect themselves.
Gary could be the one who murdered deb, and hes trying to lead you in the wrong direction so you dont think it was him. Or he could be protecting somone. PLEASE be careful he could be tricking you.

Wait… I have a random theory. What if Chloe is Scott’s daughter? What if the first mountaineer is Scott’s as well. There were children’s toys in the original. Here's something to think about didn't an email on debs computer have john doe's old email in it threatening her. If so I would be very cautious with John Doe
Theory- So I did some research on crystallization. And what I discovered is that besides cooling a liquid, it can also occur through a Supersaturated Solution. This is basically when the solvent (the liquid) is at max capacity filled with the solute. Then when the Acidity ( or temp) changes, the max capacity of the liquid changes, causing the solute ( or crystals) to fall out. This could be what caused the crystallization!! The solvent is the blood, coffee, serum, and the solute is whatever chemical they were exposed to, then the acidity changed, causing them to crystallize! I hope this was helpful :)
We have to remember that Scott mentioned Chloe being very young... she probably didn't understand what she was signing for. Then in later years tried to sue Deb but couldn't... someone who stared very young as a lab rat wouldn't really develop well in many areas. Not sure if I made sense 😅 lol

Guys, please do not villainize DID or any personality disorder. The “splintering”, and the violence that was in the lab report makes it seem like thats where you’re going in the story. Please don’t use any mental disorders unless you are very confident you can give them accurate representation. Don’t make it seem like people with these disorders are violent. A lot of times it’s used for villains or “crazy”/ violent people to create drama or a more sci fi feel. This is a harmful trope of personality disorders that is not accurate and creates a negative stigma around them and spread misinformation. It’s very possible they never thought of going towards a personality disorder at all, and are doing something with timelines and universes like they’ve hinted at, I’d prefer it that way. I wanted to put this out there in case they were thinking about it or someone was theorizing about it, to avoid the spread of misinformation.

The last time John Doe and the team had an encounter, which is when he went into hiding, the team found snacks in his car. Maybe one of the snacks was a Mars bar? I don’t remember but if so that could mean that Scott (who’s presumably in a time loop) became John Doe after retiring from Syntec.

Theory: So Synetec is still a working company, except it’s far underground, very skeleton staff etc. And what you’re finding, experiencing is what they want you to find/experience.
Splintering sounds like a time shift/ timeline milestone that Syntec has discovered, in which case they will be trying to rewrite history as you’re living in it. So they came from the past, hidden in the present day (the “future” to them) and realised they’re in trouble so they’re exploiting that splinter in time to leave dead ends/false leads for you to discover?
P.S. I hurt my head trying to make a theory work.

Theory: what if DEB was in a chemical reaction where everything in her body crystallized like with ice but it did not take temperature to crystallize and the weapon that was used was like a grenade or a gun and the crystallization is why her body didn’t Decay
Theory: I think the splintering is when someone sees something from other realities or universes
The word Splintering could mean something like the personality splintering off or breaking off and creating its own persona from which the original consciousness AKA Chloe could be seeing the falsely created memories of her alter ego or split personality which was created when she was injected with the serum all those years ago and that could be what those "odd hallucinations could be.
With all the new information on the painful tests on patients, it feels like Chloe, although a suspect for murder, also could have reason behind her words. I don't know who to believe, but be careful guys! ;)
Theory:My guess is the absolat was designed with something on the inside of it but who ever or whatever stole it used that on deb and possibly crystalized everthing on her
Theory Time: Okay, I know this might be a long stretch for what if Deb isn't dead.. I know it might be a long stretch since we have the proof right in front of us 5 feeling the deb is it really dead. What if Gary, or whatever his name is I forgot, captured Deb and pronounced Deb dead.
Theory: What if the absolate powers whatever killed Deb?
And Chloe was the cleaning lady who stole it from the studio to use it on Deb.
2 Theories: 1. Splintering could have something to do with jumping into timelines. Thus why she was seeing and hallucinating about things she's never seen. 2. Blood cannot crystalize because it is not a pure substance. However, studies have shown blood CAN be crystalized OUTSIDE of the body. So maybe Syntec found a way to mimic, intensify, and speed up the crystallization process so that it could crystallize someone in place, with their blood still in their body. Any other way would need extreme pressure, cold and/or heat.
Also, it could have been something that crystallized AROUND Deb making it appear her blood/bodily fluid crystallized.
Theory: what if it wasn't deb that was murdered? I know, it's a stretch but I don't think the person that was murdered was deb. If Chloe is disabled more mentally rather than physically, then it could've been her. She might have gone in looking for something to help her or for reasons to sue deb again before who ever killed her came in, mistaking her for deb.

I love this series I have watched every single episode from the start but I have a small complaint. I don't like the new style of the videos ( by that I mean when they cut to mat for him to explain something , remind something or make jokes etc ... )
. I feel like it kind of kills the rhythm of the video but this is just my opinion and others may disagree
I agree especially with reading the comments like make that a playlist for that because it cuts the time for how long the episode is going to be if that makes any sense.
I have a theory about what could’ve cause the crystallization on Deb. “The Absolate” I believe she was the one that stole in costume since she knew Garry wanted it. What if she figured out how to open it and that happened. Insane theory, but just wanted to get that on the board because you never know. Anything is possible.

Theory: I did a bit a research and according to google, blood freezes at -272.29 degrees C. Perhaps, she was injected with some sort of serum that caused all her insides to stiffen and freeze up. Or maybe she was doomed from the start(like she had that problem from the beginning), she knew and it was only a matter of time before her life came to the end.
There’s an employee file in the filing cabinet that has Chloe’s name on it. So that means both Chloe and Ben were the only two people we know of so far that were both an employee and an experiment.
I have a very interesting theory. So in history class today we were talking about the bombing in Hiroshima in WW2 and nuclear bombs and radiation. A kid in my class said that you could still see the “shadows” of the Japanese people vaporized by the bomb. What if Deb was murdered by a huge radiation attack. I realize it can’t be a bomb because everything else in the apartment is intact, but maybe the killer used a ton of radiation to vaporize the inside of the apartment. That would explain the shadows. Just a thought
Theory: What if her blood crystalizing is the cause of splintering maybe Chloe caused the same thing that Deb did to her and it might explain what happened to her.

Theory:
The crystalized kind of reminds me of the chemical reaction crystallisation which creates salt crystals and blood has a concentration of salt.
Deb might have been crystalized using this chemical reaction.
I immediately got the idea that CHLOE is the one in the burned photo with Wes, CHLOE is also the one who came in and stole the absilate. Now I’m even leaning towards her being the murderer behind Debs death. I’m unsure how at this point but it all makes some kind of sense.
theory: Deb was messing with a chemical that could have altered the serum and it reacted in the heat, causing it to explode. she could have had serum in her blood, in which it entered her body, causing her to crystallize in place. this could explain why she was standing in death and the crystallization.
Theory: What if Deb's murder led to this "time loop" as if her life was the thing keeping the world turning and working properly.
Theory:I feel like she couldve died from a nitrogen bomb because they cause extreme cold wich could kill a person which would explain the crystals and crystalized skin cells and because it was so hot the blast zone of the bomb couldve mad the shadow/area of explosion may not be anywhere close but its the best ive got as of now

Theory: What if the Machine y’all found in the briefcase the one that looks like it could Electrify substances like serum if deb would have been exposed to serum then with a high exposure to the Electrical current could’ve crystallize the serum causing her body to stop. This is what I believe cause the clock was faster like if it had a high rate of electricity through it.
