And welcome back to your regularly scheduled "Project 863" video. The red writing on the walls hasn't stopped at Spellbound Inc, if anything it's become a permanent fixture for the team to keep guessing about. However, today may be the day that some answers are found. After investigating some new writing in upstairs Red Base, the team sets off to Subject 4 to see if they have any ideas for what it could mean. And, when the smoke clears, what they find is shocking, while also making them question how much more of this will come up before they're done with once and for all.

"Tell-Tale Heart" by Edgar Allen Poe in which the main character slowly goes crazy after killing the old man he lives with and stuffs him under the floorboards. So the body outline under the floorboards, makes sense. I saw someone else point out that the other messages coulod have been from books also which could give clues to other things hidden around the studio.

Perhaps this is the chalk outline of Deb. My theory is that she killed herself, perhaps after killing Wes and not being able to handle the heartbreak, but not before she uploaded part of her consciousness into some kind of AI and that is what the team have been communicating with all of this time. It would make sense then why Deb often talks like a computer...what do you think?
You cant upload your consciousness onto a computer not even an AI program has a human consciousness. I do think someone either died or was almost dead at the time of the outline. Im thinking it was nelson and he is held in somekind of sleep state by Deb to keep his body alive. She has to take care of some things before taking him out and taking over Syntec which has been her goal all along

I watch these with headphones, and as they all head to pull the floorboards I started hearing some "heavy" breathing around 29:06. After getting a little creeped out, I realized that it was actually Woods breathing as he was walking up the stairs! 😅🤣

... unfortunately the ending hinges on a commonly misunderstood trope.
Chalk outlines were _NOT_ used to show where a *dead* body finally fell but to indicate where the bodies of victims who were *still living* lay but had to be moved - as in, to the hospital, so they could continue living - before investigators could arrive. There was never a need to outline a corpse simply because that person was already dead and would wait as long as was needed for any photographers and crime-scene investigators to take the necessary time required to do their job properly.
The outline provides context for photographs of the crime scene, and assists investigators in preserving the evidence. Modern investigators almost never use chalk or tape as outlines at a crime scene to avoid contaminating the evidence. While chalk outlines were occasionally used in the past, they often were drawn by the police for press photographers, not for investigative purposes. Theory: What if all of the writing on the walls are quotes or sayings from books, poems, or stories. Like the writing that is on the wall saying, "Do you fancy me mad" is a reference to the poem from The Tell-Tale Heart from Edgar Allan Poe.

I remember back when all of this started. My theory was that there was a ghost trying to reach out to you to help solve their murder so they could pass on. I’ve since then disregarded that theory. But since the writing appeared I feel as though my original theory may have been correct lol.

Ghosts/Spirits have unfinished business, like if someone was murdered, their unfinished business would be getting revenge or if someone was r@ped and then murdered and never found, their unfinished business would be them being found
So talking about the chalk outline making the writing appear. There are stories about spirits reliving their death over and over if the death was horrible enough. Syntech being as they are/were I wouldn't doubt it for a minute especially since you and the phantom are kinda living parallel experiences just on two sides of the same coin.

Well, apparently I’m now into watching things on RUclips related to murder (this and Danganronpa, which is basically a game/anime about teenagers being part of a killing game). From what knowledge I do have about murders [thats weird to say] I think the whole body outline should be seen, since there is a foot and hand not shown. Maybe the person who died had something in their hand and that was marked on the floor as well as the body. It might be best to tear up all of the floor boards, because the murder weapon or clues could be hidden under the floor

Edit: The writing may have been made by the person who died. They were driven to madness by something, possibly serum or all the death around them. They then started to paint messages on the walls before the madness got to them, and later killed someone then themselves. Like the poem said the body was under the floor boards, which is where you found the outline. Maybe the messages that were covered up back then are reappearing now along with clues that might lead other people to madness.

Matt how they use fancy would mean “ how would you describe me?” So it means “ do you think I’m mad?”.
Going off of the team’s theories at the end, what if one of Syntec’s employees (or someone involved with the company in some way) started murdering people. Or, it could have been just a murderer that stumbled upon the company. Said murderer/ crazed employee spray painted the walls, leading others to the sight of their fellow coworker on the ground, dead. The murderer got impatient as the employees couldn’t make sense of the clues on the wall, hence the arrows and the ‘do you fancy me mad.’ The ghost of the victim has been leading you guys to the same point that the murderer led the employees to before. By rewriting/ uncovering the messages, you get to solve the murder that was a shut case before. Look closer to the messages. Murderers usually have a ‘thing’ that they do; something kind of like a signature. What do the messages have in common and what is different about each one? These could add up to form something like an answer. You solved one murder, now let’s solve another.

No Nelson didn't die in the fire. At the time of the fire Nelson was at a interview, which he had to cute short due to a "incident" at Syntec.
