- Take a trip inside Elvis Presley House located on 1034 Audubon Drive, Memphis TN. Because of the big interest for my first short video, I have extended this one with more footage.
It's a one-story ranch style house in a residential neighborhood in Memphis, Tennessee. Singer Elvis Presley lived here with his parents between March 1956 and March 1957, before moving to Graceland. This video is recorded in January 2005. #Elvis #ElvisPresley #atalkaboutelvis

The fireplace you see @ 4:09 is still in the house to this day. But the inside has been reshaped with some walls removed but then some added. The pool in the backyard has been filled in and tiled over although you can still clearly see its outline. The building in the backyard is also still there. The large trees currently in the front yard are trees that Vernon planted just before they moved to Graceland.

Elvis was surely proud of his first house. It’s a shame it’s been altered.
Compare the old pic with Elvis out front and no trees to today with tall full grown trees.

Yes. Back then they kept most of it original.
