With his 4 1/2 octave range, talented orchestra, talented band, and the best backup singers it was explosive. Elvis had almost 10 years of pent-up demand to sing good songs. He slayed every venue. I saw a show about just music this week. All the musicians agreed that the music we hear today wouldn’t be what it is if it had not been for Elvis. There was like 20 or so well known musicians. He started allot of stuff to make sounds and the back up singers and all kinds of things had not been for Elvis. He mixed sounds and voices snd all kinds of stuff.

I was 14 years old , my 16 year old brother and I was trying to talk our parents into letting us drive some 20 miles down the road to Dayton Ohio to see Elvis preform . We didn't get to . The tickets were 15.00 bucks a shot . Elvis passed away soon after . One of my life's regrets !
