@@ProperlyGaming I have a player playing a gnome bard with this exact quirk. The silver tongue gets them interested and entranced but he’s a complete bumbling doofus when it comes to the act. It’s hilarious and fun every time they go to a tavern, and I’ve written a fair few encounters just based around this to play on it.

A funny detail I completely missed during my first viewing: Jester being annoyed by her friends mocking Nott's idea of paying a prostitute to guard Kiri. After all, she was raised by a courtesan.

@@definitelyarealperson248 Well, to be fair, Courtesan and prostitute aren't exactly the same thing. There is a difference between a woman being forced into it to survive and one chosing this life because she enjoys it. As long as she has control over it like the Ruby of the Sea does, there is indeed nothing wrong with it.
Not entirely sure “raised” is the right word. Her mum is a prostitute and surely loves her but it doesn’t seem like there was much parenting going on.
@@SkulblakaFreohr We learn more about their relationship later in the campaign, but without spoiling, while she was often er... "busy", she did seem to spend a fair amount of time with Jester when she grew up.

That's impossible. They had to be robbed after the drinking game, because they put the money they won and (most important for me to back up this statement) the little wooden tokens of their victory in the pouch. If they had been robbed during the blood maledict bit then they wouldn't have found the kids, since they were using Locate Object on the little wooden tokens.
That moment when you rob wealthy travellers, they find you, then proceed to pay you money and offer to break your parents out of prison. AH YES

My favourite episode of campaign2 so far. Caleb & Jester dancing has one of the best character moments of the series, but the mental image of Molly & Nott dancing is straight up fudging adorable. Almost makes you picture if the other two joined in, or at least tried to. Fjord and Beau standing there watching the four of them, before Fjord turns to Beau, shrugs, and holds his hand out to her... before Beau just straight up punches him in the fucking forearm. 😂

I love how much nicer everyone is being to each other at this point in the campaign, it’s super wholesome, especially this episode. There were multiple little cute moments between Nott and Molly and they used to not get along very well so that was super cute to see.
Liam’s FACE at 34:29 was my EXACT EXPRESSION at Matt’s incredible sound effects.

Is funny how Marisha is just “...yeah, what about it?” like that was so normal to her, I can’t even imagine the things she hear from has husband on a normal day xD
I'm playing catch up so I end up watching about an episode a day or every other day and I sometimes start to take for granted just how good these people, and Matt in particular, are at their jobs. The voices and sound effects are incredible and totally immersive.

@@Matisyahuwu It's a society that uses alchemical sets as a prime system for science, distilling,etc. You can't expect that society to make ultra-efficient dynamite.
If you want your players to be mad and do something special, steal from them. It works most of the time.

I know I´m super late to the party, but that moment with the kids and Kiri and her musicbox made me tear up. I could really see it in my head. Just a bunch of children, finding a moment of actual childhood in the midst of war, hunger and the empire. Damn you, Matt, for making me feel things.

Not that long ago I had my group run thru an arc where they dealt with a Kenku cult of Groth-Golka high up in the mountains who had all became warlocks of Groth-Golka (A flying creature created by Robert E Howard that was later added into the Cthulhu Mythos as a Great Old One) after they had been offered the ability to communicate telepathically if they accepted the pact. All Great Old One Warlocks get that telepathic ability at level 1 so was a great offer to them to agree to the pact and actually be able to communicate without having to try and use Mimicry to do so once more.

This happened to me when Sam was shouting “Shut up shut up!” At Kiri a few episodes ago! It’s SO TRIPPY
Caleb saying “I’ll defer to the group” is a fancy way of him saying “I trust you guys on what you decide, and I’m willing to help.”
It’s subtle, but even in what sounds like resignation, he sees them as family. They have gone from untrustworthy strangers to a family unity and it’s beautiful. His social transformation is my favorite so far.
