I would try and learn in flat water if you have the gear already if not I’d look up the schools in Toronto and learn the basics with their beginner gear. Nothing really available around here.

Thanks, great footage. How does it compare e.g. to the Kujir 1, like 1210 or 980? O the 1095, which is similar AR?
Compared to 1210 & 980. Faster, smoother, better tip breaching. Just all around more refined high performance. Rig is also super stiff.
I always wonder why you wear this jacket, for Windchill ? dies it really help?

I wear rain jacket on top of wetsuite for windchill protection. It really helps. A cloth should repel water. It prevents evaporation from wetsuite and so reduces windchill.
A couple more questions if you don't mind. It looks like many times you are the only person out on the lake. Could just be the perspective of the camera. Do you ever have any concerns about your safety? It looks like you are working the whole time you are up on foil and don't get much of a break. How long do you usually stay out?
This day a few others out there somewhere. You do need to use common sense. Usually come in after about 1 1/2 hour to change batteries and drink some water.
