I like your loyalty to that JP SLALOM 72- 🎉. At this point they should just put your name on it. Thank you for all your videos - a lot of very appreciated information. Best of luck 💥
You should do more clinics with kids! It is important that kids can see and learn from their heroes. A lot of young kids don't know there are heroes in windsurfing. As a former squash trainer, also a small sport, i saw how important it is for kids to see the top players play at a high level. To have top players who like to help young kids to develop their skiles which leads to more fun and more commitment to the sport. They are the future of the sport! I hope to welkome you one Day in Oostvoorne, holland
Excellent week, thank you Nico for your professionalism, advice and making everyone welcome. Not to forget Lars pulling all the action together, thank-you.
Awesome video Nico! Im wondering how long your harness lines are or how long they should be, i feel like mine are too short maybe? How do you choose the length or the range on lenght when using adjustable ones?
Hi Nico, great Video again. I also See the long harness lines. I'm using 24" ones. In the past I have been using 22". So I tried a little longer ones but much longer ones feels Like loosing contact to the sail. A video with gibt's about how to surf with longer ones might bei good. Just testing with adjustable ones ist easy but some professional hints would be great. Hang loose Jochen
Nice video, for the water windsurfing parking I experienced that in Kos at Windzone in 2011, very convenient for a break without the hassle of transporting gear in/out of water.
6.5 is definitely my go to size. In higher winds I can blast on the fin and when it’s light I losen the downhaul a bit and use it for foiling. No need to re-rig when conditions change. Great video. So much enthusiasm for windsurfing🙌 Hopefully one day I can do one of your clinics. I’ll be in Bonaire in March. You and your group will love it😎
For me same, i use the 6.5 NP v6 (old but i love it) it feels so good and i can get it planing in like 8m/s on the fin and soon im getting a foil for next season and ill use the 6.5 for foil aswell cant wait!!
Nice video, new to the windsurfing, learning a lot, already seen couple of videos. Cant really find much about how to use the trapeze and were to put the straps in the right position. But perhaps need to dig in too it a little bit more to find it. Nice channel, nice instructions🙏
Nice one Nico, great to see results with all people and have fun 2 gether, even on borrowed gear. Nice initiative , to organize clinics Great to see many sails on the water , make windsurfing great
Nice video. Looks like an awesome spot. I have seen a few places that tie boards & rigs to buoys in the water and although the water will keep the rigs cool, the UV still goes to work on the sails.
Great stuff as always, Nico...been following you for some time now...& BIG kudos to you on your fantastic progress from 28th last yr. to now 9th PWA spot. Looking forward to meeting you one day...especially in some shallow lake area. Is this spot your'e in in this clip really shallow, like chest deep, eg?
Nico! Please come to Seoul, Korea someday. It's not a windy place, but you will meet nice wind in spring season and you can fly surrounded by city view, han-river.
Nico, I would like to ask you how long is your harness line, 'cause I have seat harness (having some spine issues) and i've noticed that people who wear waist harness use a much shorter line, but you seem to have a long lines as well.
My windsurfing could do definitely be helped with one of these clinics 😂. Im curious how you do on-water tuition/feedback... maybe advice from the powerboat. Video footage of your mistakes etc ?
I love your enthusiasm Nico! Alacati looks interesting - would it be correct to describe it as a sort of European (ok - I know Turkey isn’t strictly speaking part of Europe!) version of Bonaire - not super windy, flattish shallow water etc? Looks like a good spot to practice transitions!?
So how do you handle 30 knots on the foil with a 6.5? I like 10, sketchy at 20, but 30? Yikes! I don't really like foiling overpowered so I wonder how you manage it. Other than sheeting out and standing way forward are there other things I can do to make it manageable?
Fabulous video, personality you have etc, yet very, very ,very frustrating to not mention the name of this beach in the beginning of this video or at the end. Here in Wyoming USA we have no idea about beaches and it is so frustrating it makes me not be able to sign up for your great clinics. Great videos yet i hope someone will be able to tell me the name of this beach in Turkey, Thanks so much, joe
Hi Joe 👋 no need to be frustrated. Sorry about forgetting such essential information, that was obviously not intentional. If that keeps you from signup up, that’s also okay. The location is Alacati in Turkey.
Seems like nobody is using a seat harness in this video, maybe I missed it. But for sure when I was sailing the seat harness was well good news for flat water fast sailing 🙂 evil if you get trapped around the mast by a strong gust or cocking up, but defo a great bit of kit for keeping the power on, and your position great.
Nico, kannst du Menge an Werbung während des Clips eigentlich beeinflussen? Musste jetzt leider abschalten, da es gefühlt alle 3 Minuten Werbung zeigte.
If you buy gear that’s a year or two old, you can get great bargains. There’s lots of good used equipment out there (at least - there is here in the UK)
Absolutely right. The sport is way too expensive. I’m surfing over 45 years now and a saw the sport develope in wrong direction: to advanced, high tech, to specialiest… and way to expensive. Yes, yes! I hear the arguments already:” you got to pay for development and quality” In the early days you bought a windsurfset incl. wetsuit and roofrack for lets say 1100 euro. Nowadays you only buy a sail or a second hand board fir that money. Come on: a fin for 200,- euro, a mast for 6-7-800 euro, a sail for 1200,- boards for 2400,-!!!my God. The industry scares people away.
Stumbled across this video. I sold all my gear in the 90s when family life took over. Maybe it is time to pick it up again. Windsurfing the North Sea though, is nowhere near as nice as the Med!
Spot: Alacati/Turkey
Sail: NP RS:Racing EVO 14 6.5
Board: JP Slalom 72 / Super Sport 120
I like your loyalty to that JP SLALOM 72- 🎉. At this point they should just put your name on it.
Thank you for all your videos - a lot of very appreciated information.
Best of luck 💥
What a clickbait shitshow with choppy water from hell.

The location is Alacati in Turkey.
By the way, when you open the video description, you’ll see the location is tagged.
Amazing
Really 6,5m2 at 10knots? How do you do this? I don't even come out of water with a 9,0m2...
did you get your board bag back :)
Seems like nobody is using a seat harness in this video, maybe I missed it. Moin Nico (today i was too late) 😴
It so funny yo say make windsurfing great again. But the sport is great but way to expensive for the average guy
If you want all brand new high performance gear it surely costs a lot. If it’s really just about windsurfing, you can make it work on a budget.
@@Nico_GER7 yes but you always whant the best gear but i love the sport it so great
If you buy gear that’s a year or two old, you can get great bargains. There’s lots of good used equipment out there (at least - there is here in the UK)

Rinse your gear with fresh water?
One day u'll have to decide ... Rinse Or Drink ;-)
Probably true
Wieso hast du eigentlich bei ca.. Minute 5 ein Eimer mit auf dem Wasser?? 😂
Müll sammeln hehe
Yo quiero navegar como tuuuu😢😢😢
Why not kite???
