    Epic. This camera angle is transferring the surf feeling much better. Great foil which is now on top of my gear wanted list.

    That looks so fun! What swell periods do you guys get up there? >10 seconds?

      This day probably around 5 sec. All depends on the wind.

      @@foilthegreatshow strong was the wind? If wind is lighter do you need an other foil size?

      Somewhere between 10-20 kts across the entire lake. If you are an experienced Foiler you could use the Silk 1050 in all conditions no problem. There are many variables that go into gear choice.

    How hard was popup on that board? I have. Dw board about 12" wide near the nose and i couldn't keep it flat to popup when i tried proning it

      You have to go straight down the wave and pop up quick. If you take the wave at an angle the board likes to roll.

    how much harder to pump a 100l board vs a 40l board? and why do you use the 100l today? Easier to get into waves? But at what cost of pump and manueverability?

      @foilthegreats  5 месяцев назад

      It’s definitely harder but can catch waves way easier. All depends on conditions and what I’m trying to do. You can’t really hit white water on the DW board.
