I can tell you that these folks aren't just great overland products builders, they're enthusiasts. I went there to just by an Engles fridge/freezer 12 years ago and was given a complete tour, incredible craftsmanship in their toppers and camp trailers.
Your product represents what "made in the USA" is all about. It is good to know that the use of high quality materials and well thought out engineering are still alive and well!
Great video and I have no doubt you just reduced your time on the phone by many hours. Videos are by far the best way to show off products. We love our Atlas and have been camping mostly below freezing in the morning and the Truma Vario heater sure does have us spoiled.
After an 8 month wait I got my Atlas topper. Love it! Just did my first overnights. Should have watched this very informative video first. Want that cabinet system. Thank you so much!
Thanks for making that comment. I was going back and forth on the cabinets, but this makes up my mind! Just hoping they can fit them to a 5'8" truck bed. Thanks for nothing Chevy...
@@atoverlandequipment7334 Great to hear that I can come visit. Are Fridays a good day? Should I make and appointment? I am located in the Pine / strawberry area. I am all set for the overland expo here in the next month but really want to get things settled before then. Let me know…and thank you for getting back to me.
I'm impressed for thr first time. This is a nice topper. Love the electric running through the aluminum channels. This takes the headache out of running wires yourself. Just a simple swap out of a fridge and plug it in. Or charge a drill or run an electric hot plate and then stow away. Additional plugs for adding wiring is spot on. The fact you can stand up is great. Maybe on your next model down the road you can have a topper with a sliding door that drops to the bed after the tailgate is open. That way once deployed the owner can stand on the tailgate at night and do his business and walk back in upright. Just a thought. Great product. One thing I'd like to see is some way on a hit night some cooling would be great. I live in Florida and during hunting season the weather can be 80 degrees in December making camping for a morning hunt miserable. Especially sweating at night the deer can smell you a mile away. Even moving air would be nice. A thermal blanket tent mount for the cold nights would be great to. 👍
Nicely done AT Team! very impressive indeed. Well thought out and executed to the "T" Still have my Horizon trailer and going strong after all these years. Rich Collier Borrego60.
Mario- as always great products, solid customer support, great reputation. I’m a long time customer and will continue to purchase your products. Best always
You wouldn’t by a chance know the height of the atlas from truck roof to camper roof? I’m trying to figure out if my ‘20 Tacoma will fit in the garage.
Can you tell me what the dimensions are for the cabinets? We are getting the atlas in august and I want to start planning organization but cannot find the dimensions ANYWHERE. Thank you in advance
Have you had any reports of the acrylic windows warping in the heat? There are a few reports of them warping during hot summers in travel trailers, under certain conditions.
Please and thank you in advance >> Can anyone clarify how one goes inside the camper shuts/locks from inside in order to have a relatively safe/secure sleeping setup? My wife and i have yet to view any video showing how peeps climb in and pull up the tailgate and pull down the hatch. ALSO >>> how is the trail-dust egress? We are looking at the AT Overland Summit OR the Alu Cab to fit a 6.5' RAM 1500.
Great video presentation as always Mario. Can you comment on the power options here? I'd probably go with the double solar panels as shown here but would also like to have two Lithium batteries that I can recharge either while driving; from a 110 plug-in when external power is available; or from solar panels. I could tell if the battery box shown in the front end drivers side cabinet could hold two batteries, or just one. Thanks again!
I might be interested in a Atlas, but waiting for the truck to come out! I was wondering if you can put a 30A plug in the outside of the canopy! Do you sell and install a light bar, I didn’t notice it with other product in the option area.
I’m having a hard time keeping the fabric under the lid when it closes. What’s the trick? It’s getting full of bugs. When I drive down the highway. Lol.
Hey Mario. How careful so I need to be.To pop up the camper and dry out the fabric.I live in the northwest and want to factor this in before I order one.
The material used on the Atlas is 100% waterproof and will not absorb water. If you're out in the rain and droplets of water are held in the crevices of the tent folds, mildew could occur if left unattended for a long time. Best practice after using in the rain is to pop up at the first opportunity to allow any trapped moisture to evaporate.
At the about 5 min of the video, when trying to colaspe the topper, to a certain point, it seam that the entire topper colapsed very fast ( you can hears the sound). It kind of very danger. Please elaborate more on that if you can. Thank
My man is all about that 1" thick honeycomb.....which doesn't matter at all once you extend the top. There's is very little thermal protection at that point
That is a fantastic topper camper made from durable Aluminum, Where are your location is? If I decide to come there and do some customs as similarity as on RUclips video, or ordering on line but, it’s better to install it by you or certify technician. Is there any in Orange country California that I can go or closer ? Thank you for the video and all step by step well done explanation
This was the most helpful and clearly made video for a camper I’ve ever seen.
Thank you!

Thank you for the kind words!

Like the campers, just wondering why the sleeping platform is only 48", 4 feet is not much when there is 2 people up there.
Great advertisement. You get what you pay for. Great ideas. Great engineering.

We agree. We've got more videos planned for this reason. We love the Truma heater too!
Don't piss this guy off, he will give you his best, with his green peace 22:07
great vid. very calm, clear voice, and product descriptions
I've always been a little bit dubious about these camper tops. Now, I have to have one. Someday.

Glad to hear that you're loving it! Drop us a line when you're ready for cabinets and we'll take care of you.
Still camping and still loving my topper. A great investment. Nothing I would change.

A great ‘Go To Walk-Through’ video. 🙌
Thank you very much for your super good presentation!
Awesome video Mario.... Great product....
Thank Mike!
What a beautifully made product, great engineering and execution.
More videos! I visited your shop when you were in LA, I love what you offered then and really dig what you offer now! Y'all are Pioneers in the game!
I am looking forward to visiting your shop and discuss a complete set-up for my 2022 Ram 2500 6.5’ bed.
We look forward to your visit. We'll give you a good tour and take the time with you to discuss your options.

Great walk through. Beautiful topper.
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for!
Seriously nice work. You answered a LOT of my questions as I was yelling them at youtube :) .
Love that DC charger in there! Sweet build!
Fantastic video that really goes above and beyond to review the product!
Hi Mario hope you and the team are well I get a lot of compliments on the camper thank you built like a tank🙏
We're all well Dominic! Thanks for asking. We hope you are getting your Atlas "Tank" good and dirty in the backcountry 🙂
Awesome design!

Mario and team. Thank YOU. We’re out with our Atlas for the first time this week and this information was very valuable. Best! Ofer and fam.
Ofer! Glad to hear that you picked up at MLO and are running the "GladiAtlas" through it's paces.
Thank you Mario! We couldn’t be any more pleased with the outcome and have a small list of next additions we’ll send to Janine when we’re back home.
Great stuff. Just placed an order for the Atlas today.
Woot!
Great video ...Love my Summit topper ! Please keep making more videos like this.

Well schucks.....I'm sold. Very nice setup, option, accessories, and completely envious of csmp dad. Thank you for a terrific walk-around.
We need these available in Australia, for the growing RAM, F series and Silverado market 🙏🙏🇦🇺

Thank you David for being a fan and supporter!
Great vid. So very pleased with Atlas on my 6ft bed Taco. Might add side hatch after determine full layout.
You wouldn’t by a chance know the height of the atlas from truck roof to camper roof? I’m trying to figure out if my ‘20 Tacoma will fit in the garage.
Great presentation!
They look awesome!! Wish you guys could make a cap for Ram's with Ramboxes in the future.
That's freaking awesome! Even MORE excited for mine to come in! :-)
Good gravy that’s a cool camper. I can’t think of a thing I’d do different. I’m sure it’s a bargain but I won’t bother asking how much.
I wonder if the lightbar mount could also be used to add a wind deflector in front of the cabover gap to help with gas mileage on the road?
Great video!
Thx
Great presentation
May you please advise the strenght/power of the gas springs?
Could you do a video on your heater setup?
I love it just the way this is but with thermal. How long is the lead time?
Great video, answered all my questions but one….. what would be the width of the bed on a Ford F-250? Thanks Jeff
can the bed be slid forward with top down? that way you could walk right in without moving it. also, what if windows velcroed up?
Cool product, does it withstand heavy rain?
Just fine. We sell a lot of them in the PNW where rain is as common as sunshine :-)
This thing is legit.
Can you put a cargo gear container like a Tule on top of the tent? To store more gear? How much weight can it hold
Yes, you can put up to 100 lbs on the roof and still lift it.
Where you can buy that honeycomb panels it look very solid!!!
We have it manufactured to our spec, not an off the shelf item.
Can you tell me what the dimensions are for the cabinets? We are getting the atlas in august and I want to start planning organization but cannot find the dimensions ANYWHERE. Thank you in advance
Is there another layer of aluminum under the carpet? How do you mount stuff to the inside walls if you want to add a hook or bungee mesh?
Have you had any reports of the acrylic windows warping in the heat? There are a few reports of them warping during hot summers in travel trailers, under certain conditions.
No we do not. We're in Arizona so we would have noticed if it was an issue.

My only concern with these canopy campers is bugs, how do you keep out the bugs when your tailgate and rear hatch are open??
We offer a bug screen system for the back.
Awesome👍
Can additional windows or larger ones be added to the canvas? Thanks.
Hi what is the typical wait time to have one built? I live in Goodyear AZ…
Thank you

A slight lift after you collapse it and you can tuck in the final bits. One of our clients uses a plastic spatula to make the reach easier.
This is awesome.
Well thought out🤗🇺🇸🇨🇦
I've been deciding on a topper for my full size truck. Can the AT cabinets be removed when I need to use my truck bed?
When looking at your website it doesn’t give the option to match the paint with the vehicle
Can I supply my own solar panels, wire, charge controller, inverter etc

cool! how about 4 season?
Yep. WE recommend our heater and thermal tent liner for the worst winter conditions.
What would be the price of one ot those? And how warm are they if I go to ...let's say canda or ural maintain russia.
What is the cost as seen ?
Do these have issues with water leakage
No
What’s the storage box in the bed?
Camping gear
It would be nice to know how much it weighs in the cost. I’m not sure why these informative videos do not inform you of that
360lbs
At the about 5 min of the video, when trying to colaspe the topper, to a certain point, it seam that the entire topper colapsed very fast ( you can hears the sound). It kind of very danger. Please elaborate more on that if you can. Thank
Has anyone installed a dickenson marine heater fireplace to an atlas?
We don't know of one at this point.
My man is all about that 1" thick honeycomb.....which doesn't matter at all once you extend the top. There's is very little thermal protection at that point
We offer a thinsulate thermal to address insulating the tent. It was not shown in the video.
Vertical walls are key …too bad
👋👍👍👍💥
A couple letters off - USB port
Way too expensive!
Take shoes off when on beds.

Do you offer a ventilation fan in the roof?
Yes
