So for example, when you want to use finance@company... with an external person who's doing finance work for my company and needs access to the mailbox. Thank you in advance for your reply!
You’d need to create a Group instead, as they also get a shared mailbox by default (but it doesn’t appear under Shared Mailboxes in the UI), and you can invite external guests to Groups.
Does archiving, categorising and other tools works in shared mailbox just like in my personal mailbox? Been trying to organise it that works with everyone but its not working in sharedbox. 😅
Can a single user account with an MS Business Standard license be delegated to multiple shared mailboxes, and will they operate simultaneously? thank you sir @johathan
@@bearded365guy Hi Jonathan, Thanks for your reply. I had to add the shared mailboxes by right clicking on "folders" > add shared mailbox. This option only worked for me after a day or two.

Hi, you can’t login to a shared mailbox and your external user won’t be licensed. I think you’ll need a full exchange online license for your example

how about if i deleted the user after shared the mailbox, is it the other user that have been shared still can access the inbox ?
When you convert the 'Exchange Online' to 'shared' - does all the emails sent to Boris get lost or is it saved?

Remove the license from the mailbox will wipe the accounts OneDrive!! If you make it a regular mailbox again, your OneDrive data is gone.
